Total War

When you read this, realize that during the June War, two buildings at the Weizmann Institute were burned to the ground. So this is not who started it. I am going to point to the pattern. Because where we are is precisely at the point when this war is quickly becoming a total war. So let’s look first at educational institutions, and I will point out something else. Both sides are in their echo chambers, where they woo me with every strike, but will not point out why they might have triggered some of this. And I am going back to June, but lord knows I could go to 1900, ok.

Dozens of universities were attacked, including Isfahan University of Technology and Tehran University of Science and Technology.

The aim of the aggression is to cripple the scientific foundations and cultural heritage of our country through the systematic targeting of universities, research centers, and scientists.

Here is what Iran has said over the last 24 hours, and I want you to pay attention to the pattern. This matters because an eye for an eye leaves all blind. But instead of just posting the back-and-forth, here is the target list.

This is a significant target list, and it is a small part of this larger war. More critical for the region are attacks on both sides against energy and water facilities. These are the kinds of hits that will leave people thirsty and without electricity, oh, for medical facilities. So here is where we are. They are now at the point of scorched-earth tactics.

On March 24, they photographed the American-British Diego Garcia base on the Chagos Islands in the Indian Ocean. They also surveyed Kuwait International Airport and parts of the oil industry in the Greater Burgan field. On March 25 - Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. On March 26 - the Shaybah oil and gas field (Saudi Arabia), Incirlik Air Base (Turkey), and Al Udeid Air Base (Qatar).

There are no Ukrainian facilities on this list. But who is helping whom by lifting sanctions on an aggressor who is making money every day, providing relevant information about attacks on American, Middle Eastern, British, American-British bases, etc.?

When objects in Ukraine are being surveyed, we always know that they need to be camouflaged, because an operation is being planned to destroy them. Energy and water supply, military facilities, etc. Everyone knows why the repeated survey is being conducted - they are preparing. If the “Russians” are doing this, how can sanctions be lifted?

We need to put pressure on the aggressor. And lifting sanctions is definitely not pressure. It’s strange. Sanctions are being lifted, and the aggressor is providing information to target objects, including those of the countries that are talking about lifting sanctions or are already lifting them.

This is what tells me this is now a global war. One that we are not ready to fight, and that is a critical reality. The fact is that we are increasingly unable to shoot down targets.
