How is it that I've never seen or heard of this before?! It's the 11th Annual Critics Choice Awards 2006 and while Jensen is being interviewed Jared runs over and TRYS TO MAKE OUT WITH HIM!!!

*happy sigh*

I love how Jensen acts like he's pushing Jared away but he isn't really. He actually holds onto his hand for a moment.. keeping him there. Jared actually lets go first!!

A few things from various reports that I loved that I haven't seen everywhere!

When Jared joined Jensen on stage they joked that they were going to reenact a scene from the finale. Jared says its "Jensen doing a sex scene. With me".

They so know how to cater to us and I love them for it!

A guy asked Jared about his training regime, and Jared started getting all geeky about and then told the guy he'd email it to him!

Jensen standing up to "adjust" himself, and apologizing for being inappropriate.

Jensen proving he is smarter than many fans as he gets that Sam is not 'turning evil" but is motivated by the same things Dean is but is going about achieving them in a different way.

Jensen asking for Ritalin from the audience for Jared (with a number of offers in response, pity not everyone had taken their medication)

When asked about Sam getting darker this season, Jared chimmed in with “I’ve been tanning” Does this get any better!?

A few Recs!!

First.. Two meta recs about SPN 4x18..

These were REALLY GOOD. They revealed a few things I had no idea about so I am glad I read them.

I am still surprised over some fans reactions over the shout outs to fandom in the episode.
Some were absolutely disgusted and insulted...some hated it so much they are refusing to ever watch the show again. They even made it onto Fandom_Wank!! And I have to say that I think these people are WAY too sensitive.

Anyone who feels that way should definitely read these two metas. And even if you don't.. like I said.. they are still really good!!

The most enlightening one is about what I like to call..Fandom on TWOP compared to LJ.

A couple quotes...

For those that do not post on Television Without Pity or have never really heard of it. The website was built on the motto: Spare the snark, spoil the network. Kripke's been quoted as lurking on the boards as early as Season 1. The message boards on the website are designed to mock shows.

The website Dean pulls up is the same color scheme as TWOP and simpatico is a very vocal love-to-hate poster on it. Barnes is the name of the forum moderator. (The forum refers to the character on the show as Show!Barnes.) This was the fandom set up and chosen to take the piss out of.

Like I said - Kripke and the other writers knew exactly what they were doing - they deliberately made sure TWOP was identified as much as a CW show could identify a website run by Bravo. And then they snarked.

So if that vaguely squicky feeling has been worrying you - rest assured. It wasn't your section of fandom they were snarking on. It was just family being mercilessly teasing with one another.

The other meta is great as well cause it talks about Why Fandom/Show is my newest ship!

Yes evidence that Kripke mocks what he loves!!! Personally I took all the fandom meta in the episode as Kripke saying "Hey suck on this other shows! I have a tattooed, cult underground fandom that writes gay incest porn! How cool is that!" Mentioning slash in prime time is of itself transgressive, showing that Kripke likes being a bit on the edge.

I'd also like to rec fatedcinderella's new J2 fanvid!!!

I must have watched this a million times by now and it always gets my squee going! It's got everything we love about the boys and how much they love eachother! PERFECT!!

I just wanted to say that you guys are awesome!

I know we don't all share the same opinions on our show but I love that you all are willing to accept others feelings and not bash them (or me)!

I used to worry about being honest about my feelings in my own journal for fear of getting into arguments with my friends list or pissing someone off.

But you guys are awesome and I really appreciate it!

nyoka pointed out this meta on fandom types and fannish behavior that I found really interesting.. It explains how we tend to fangirl over our shows in different ways and how that can lead to fighting and disagreements. It was really interesting. You can find it here...

I thought about reccing it in one of the bigger comms cause I think alot of the fans out there could stand to read it.

Anyways.. I love you guys!

I think I am the only one in the world who has no idea what all the wank is about.

Seriously.. I have no idea.

I come online and everyone is talking about the wank..but no one says what exactly it is.

Seems like if I spend one day away from LJ I miss alot.

So could someone please fill me in? I feel like an idiot not knowing what people are talking about.

All I know is it has something to do with Jensen.

I'm not a wanker.. you guys know that.. I am just really curious.

I do have an opinion.. but I am afraid to share it. I feel like if I did I would be participating in it somehow.

I noticed today that 73 people have friended my SPN recs journal! That is so cool! I remember when I was so happy to even have five...and that feeling hasn't gone away yet. Even time I get a notice that someone friended the journal.. it gives me a happy. :-)

So.. since it has been bugging me a lot lately.. I thought I would talk a little about why I don't like the latest SPN spoilers..

So the most recent spoiler that I have heard is how the first episode of season four is going to open.. And I am hoping and praying that this is just a rumor because I think it is the worst idea ever!

I've heard that they are going to jump four months into the future during the first episode and open it up with Dean just getting out of hell. They said he will have no memory of his time there..
They said that Sam will have changed alot and their relationship will be a little strained for a while.. and Dean will start having flash backs of hell.. gradually letting us know what he went through. And we will basically have to wait for them to even reveal to us how Sam managed to get him out!!

So here's the part where I rant and rave.. WHAT THE FUCKING HELL!!??

I am going to be so pissed if this is true.. They tried the same thing with Heroes last season and it worked so badly that they lost half their viewers!!! The writers actually had to make a public apology saying it was a stupid idea and begged the viewers to give them another chance.
And the last thing Supernatural needs right now is to loose viewers! I, myself would never stop watching and I would try to trust Kripke to make it work somehow.. but that doesn't mean I have to be happy about it.

To leave us hanging like that...having to wait months untill we get the full story about what happened after the finale..it would be horrible!!

I am hoping and praying that all this is wrong.. and I am clinging to the real chance that it might be.. considering that a few weeks ago I read a spoiler that said during the first episode Sam would be trying to find ways to get Dean out of hell and actually considers killing himself with the demon killing knife to either join him or go in after him in an attempt to get him out.

Even that sounds better than the skipping ahead four months idea..

And then before that.. there was some spoiler that said that Kripke admitted that Dean wouldn't be getting out until the fourth episode.

So anyways.. I am holding out hope.

- I am having a horrible time getting things downloaded lately. My high speed internet has been acting more like dial-up for a week or so now.. so downloads that used to take maybe only a little more than an hour.. take 5-8 hours. And then I will get halfway there.. and I will loose my internet connection and end up having to start all over again. It took me four tries and around 12 hours to finally download Burn Notice. It's crazy. And pictures load so slowly that half of them end up not showing up at all and the other half end up as boxes with red x's...(I can't read Fandomsecrets at all anymore because none of the pictures will load) And I have done everything I can think of to figure out what is wrong.
So monday I am taking my computer over to my Dad's and he will look at it.. and then if we have to we will take it in to Verizon and see if it is the service. I think it has to be the service. My com has plenty of space and memory and my hard drive is clean and it doesnI't need defragged. So I am at a loss.

- I have this idea.. of a vid to make for my best friend.. about Jared and Jensen. But I need a video converter that will convert .flv to .avi because most of the vids I want to use are .flv
I have tried a couple but none of them end up working. There is always something. And one that I tried didn't come with any instructions and it was so damned complicated.. I could figure out how to use it.
I am getting so freaking frustrated that I have to take some time away from it for a while.

- I read some SPN spoilers that I am not happy about. So I am hoping they are not true. They might not be because I have heard a couple different things now and they contradict eachother. So I have hope.

- I need to organize my music files.

- I had an epiphany.. but I am not going to get into it right now. But it was pretty eye opening. Although it doesn't really change anything.

- I want to change my journal font. But I don't know the names of any fonts so I have no idea what to put in the box where it asks for your font..at the Customize Journal page.

I feel bad. I have gotten these new friends recently and I have hardly posted about anything.
It's weird.. it's like I have drawn a complete blank. I have no idea what to write about.

It's been that time of the month so I have been miserable..in bed.. reading and sleeping and sleeping and reading..

I have Endometriosis so my periods are always a rough time. So right now.. ME = UNCOMFORTABLE

I am drained and sore and achey and sad.. I haven't been eating much lately.. don't know what that's about.

Downloading "The Dark Knight" and the new episode of "Burn Notice"..and I am going to download "Fight Club".. It is one of my favorite movies and I still don't own it! That's crazy!

So thanks to lady_savant and motel_wincest I have discovered the joys of podcasting.
I was already listening to fanfiction recordings by fans but I hadn't realized that there were so many other kinds of podcasts out there.

I don't have an iPod so I thought I couldn't even listen to them anyways.. and then I found out that there are programs that will enable me to listen to them on my computer.. and will even let me save them as mp3's if I want to keep them and put them on my mp3 player.

So I am using Winpodder which is perfect for me cause it works right through my Windows Media Player.

I went through a bunch of sites but the one that seemed the best so far is podcastalley dot com...
So far I have been focusing on self-help podcasts.. stuff about motivation and guidance..

I went out to dinner with my parents the other night. It was their 35th Wedding aniversary..for some reason they wanted me to come along. I think they are just worried and want to get me out of the house. And babyback ribs at Chili's is a good motivator. LOL

I am really glad to meet each of you and I am looking forward to getting to know you better.

I'd like you each to know that I have a filter that I use when writing about my biggest struggles dealing with my disorder.. because I know not everyone wants to read about all that. But if you would like to be added to it.. just let me know.

I also have a religion filter.. for the same reason.. I know religion isn't everyone's cup of tea. I am LDS but I love to study almost all religions and I'm going through a bit of a spiritual crisis right now.. that sometimes I need to deal with.
If you would like to be added to that filter just let me know.

And just so you know.. I have a Supernatural fanfiction recs journal at mystic_spn_recs where I rec out all the best fanfiction that I find. In case you want to check it out.
I just got finished going through all the fics and organizing the tags better. Now that I know that some people look for specific things.. I have added tags such as Protective!Sam or Dean..binding!fic..Broken!Jared or Jensen..curse!fic..hurt!Sam or Dean..Jealous!Jared..and post-deal breaking and post-hell. And a whole bunch more.. basically made certain types of fics easier to search for.

I think I pinched a nerve in my hip today because it really freaking hurts! Hurts to move.. sit..stand..walk. It just plain hurts.. *grumbles*

I hope I can sleep tonight.. I have been awake since 5am and it is 10pm now. But that doesn't mean I will be able to sleep. Not with my messed up brain. Nope.. I could still be up for another 24 hours!

I broke down and watched the first part of "Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog"... The first couple of minutes were kind of cute.. but I didn't care for the rest of it.. and I have no desire to download the other two parts. Sorry guys! At least I tried! But I still don't get why everyone is making a big deal over it. *shrugs* I really am a freak.

So I have to go over to my parent's to do my laundry. Which means I have to leave the house. Now.. normally..that wouldn't be a big thing. But over the past few months I have become almost agoraphobic or something. I hate leaving my apartment!

I get major anxiety just thinking about it. I used to go over to my parent's all the time. Now I hardly go over at all. My Mom has been calling me.. begging me to come over. Which is weird because normally..they can't get rid of me.

All I want to do is sit on the computer and read fan fiction. It's become an obsession. It's the only time I'm happy. Well.. unless I am watching tv.

I broke down and bought Supernatural season two on DVD. So I can happily sit for hours and watch that.

My fandom is my happy place!
