    Jack Murphy own the goalkeeper for the Charleston Coyotes hockey team and doesn't feel ready for relationships unless it's with his dog, Mayer. After a one night stand with Wendy, the attraction he feels is different from the attraction he's felt for others. When he hires a body guard for to a stalker, he's surprised when it's Wendy he's hired. Moving in to protect him, the attraction grows between them.
    What happens when the stalker is caught? Do they go their separate ways? Will they give in to the attraction and see where it takes them?
    This was another great book from Jacob, with humour and characters you can't help but love! Can't wait for the next one!

    That girl can kick some butt.
    I love a story with a strong woman lead, and she is the definition of that. These two have one hot night together before she runs out on him. Then, a stalker brings them back together. He's not letting her or of his bed once she's back in it.

    Love, love, love so much this book! I want a Murphy in my life. Loved how ready he was to acknowledge his feelings. Loved the chemistry between the two characters. Five star read, as always!

    Guarding the Goalie is a thrilling romance that hooked me from the very beginning. This book had it all – heart, passion, humor, and emotion. The storyline was very-well written. I adored the push and the pull between Murphy and Wendy; their chemistry electric and attraction magnetic. The banter had me laughing often. The emotions radiated from the pages and the swoon-worthy moments were breathtaking. There was no angst or drawn-out drama – simply a sweet story with a little added suspense. This book was everything I hoped for and more. I loved every second of this story and didn’t want it to end! This is one book you want to read!

    *REVIEWING FOR ROCK HARD ROMANCE*

    The third book in the series, yet easily followed as a standalone.
    As the blurb gives enough away, what I will say is that it was an enjoyable read, told in DUAL POV's, again, much like Jacob's previous sports romance stories, there is a good mix of sport's detail, alongside the developing romances with the chosen leads, and plenty of LOL moments. I really liked seeing previous character's pop up and with this book, there was a bit of suspense added and to begin with it was an interesting concept for Murphy to have a stalker, although for me, I felt that the reveal of who was behind it and how it was resolved seemed to be a bit rushed, however, on the whole it was as I have said, an enjoyable read and I look forward to the next in the series.
