I have been accepted to attend a job interview in London on Monday 15th. It is a media management role. I answered 'yes' to myself after reading each bullet point on the job description, so I am confident.

I do hope life begins at 25 :-)

Since I have all the time in the world now, here is another update.

I went to my ex colleagues engagement party in Great Bedwyn on the 1st. I enjoyed not having any responsibility in the proceedings of the evening, I could simply enjoy myself as a guest which is a rarity. We all had curry and pranced around to a specially selected play list on the Ipod.

I am now a job hunter, desperate to break into the Broadcast industry and since the announcement of my redundancy last month, it has really hit home to me how many radical changes I would like to make to my life style. I have had one unsuccessful interview at a girls boarding school. I figured it best to have the interview on the very day they contacted me, which I feel resulted in a lack of preparation. Never mind, I will reflect on that as a warm up for the real thing!

Two very memorable disco's last weekend. The first being a school where I got my car stuck in the mud! and had to leave it there overnight. A kind teacher brought me home and I promptly returned next morning to retrieve it, lucky I managed to reverse it out first time much to my relief! Saturday I did a fancy dress party for a recurring client. We had some great characters including, Freddie Mercury in a 'I want to break free' style complete with high heels and vacuum cleaner! Rod Stewart, Annie Lennox, Meatloaf, and many more besides. What a fantastic night!

It is important that I keep the job search up and I am considering courses in video editing to update my skills, possibly accredited by a professional body. The book is open!

This is my first entry, yes I finally have an LJ. Newbury Dramatic Society have had a very sucessful revue at the Newbury Waterside centre. I properly sang for the first proper time in public and so I am very exhausted because mirabehn and mostlyacat have kidnapped me and forced me to start this LJ.
