She would like to pretend she's the ultimate badass, but Saxie is really kind of a marshmallow. She has a prickly, somewhat bratty exterior and tends to run her mouth at inopportune moments. Give her a beer or a light for her cigarette though and she'll be your new best friend. She's loud and boisterous when given the chance and makes friends very easy. If she gets attached, she'll be protective and supportive and even surprisingly eloquent at times. However, she's extremely protective of Ryan, keeping details about him private and rarely allowing anyone -- no matter how long she's known them -- to meet him. Overall she's a pretty fun drinking buddy, but fairly high-maintenance when it comes to everything else.

Saxsice is tall (5'11) and despite her monstrous appetite remains thin and angular in build. She dyed her hair a lot as a teenager and twentysomething, but recently cut it all off and let it grow out shaggy and dark. She doesn't care much about her appearance, not bothering with much make-up beyond eyeliner and lipstick and always dressing in holey jeans and band t-shirts. There are an assortment of scars and tattoos scattered across her body, but good luck getting close enough to see. In her wolf form, she's a light grey, with the notable feature of three black-toed paws.

Saxsice was born in 1986, just outside Charleston, North Carolina. The only child of fairly well-off parents, she had a very happy childhood, fawned over and doted upon by her large extended family -- aunts, uncles and cousins, not to mention her strong-willed grandmother. She got excellent grades, was a promising athlete and one of the most popular girls in her school.

She was also a werewolf. Is a werewolf, actually, the daughter of one of the more civilized and governed packs in the Southern U.S. Despite having the support and teaching from her family when it came to managing her supernatural abilities, Saxie always felt angry about her uncontrollable once-a-month change and rebelled in every way she could, from a young age.

This manifested when she was almost eighteen and met a handsome out-of-town law student named Lucas. One whirlwind romance later and Saxsice found out she was expecting. Her family found out and locked her up for the duration of her pregnancy. Once her son was born, they planned to foster him out to distant relatives, so his half-human, half-were genes could be "managed".

Not about to take that, Saxie escaped with her baby, making her way west to meet up with Lucas in Los Angeles. They maintained a rocky relationship until he was out of law school, but once he was settled, Saxsice split and spent the majority of her twenties as a decidedly less-than-lawful drifter.

Now, nearing thirty and with her son starting to manifest his shape-shifting abilities, Saxie has settled down and is attempting to make reparations for her absence. After years of living outside the law, all she wants is to be a good mother. The whole monthly furry problem makes that pretty damn complicated, though.
