When you first open the app, things might look pretty complicated. However, it is very simple to use once you figure it out. To make the transition easier for you, we prepared some help. If you follow these guidelines, life will be much simpler in the future and you will avoid a lot of confusion. Therefore you should read the following article BEFORE you start using Multiorders.<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Multiorders with other plugins<\/h2>\n

First of all, you should know that having any custom plugins installed in your online store might cause a wide array of unpredictable issues<\/strong>, especially if those plugins manage translations, variations, pricing and quantity. Having them might become the reason why Multiorders won’t work correctly. That is why, if you have any custom plugin<\/strong>, please contact Multiorders support first, so we could evaluate the risk and advise you on how to start using the app in the right way.<\/p>\n

2. Inventory management<\/h2>\n

Another thing that you should consider before starting to use Multiorders is your inventory data. If you think that you still need to make various changes to your inventory items<\/strong>, such as updating titles, SKU, aspects or variation names, then it is highly recommended you do so before integrating with Multiorders.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is essential to mention that SKUs must not be changed after integrating with Multiorders. Doing so may create duplicate items which will cause problems with stock sync. If you need to change an item’s SKU, please do it before you integrate.<\/strong> Otherwise, if you already use Multiorders, please contact our support before doing these changes.<\/p>\n

Keep in mind that particular marketplaces have their own rules for item placement. For example, Etsy allows you to have a single price, stock and SKU value for your product variations and the same scenario won’t work with Multiorders. Each variation must have its price, stock and SKU enabled.<\/strong> Also keep in mind that SKUs for each variation should be unique.<\/p>\n

3. Warehouse management<\/h2>\n

Also, make sure that your sales channels do not have multiple warehouses or locations enabled.<\/strong> Because, right now, Multiorders does not support this feature, and it will cause errors in stock management, which can lead to overselling.<\/p>\n

4. After integration<\/h2>\n

Finally, the last tip is about the thing you need to do AFTER integrating your stores to Multiorders. Post integration, product quantity must always be edited through Multiorders only.<\/strong> During sync, the software will overwrite any changes made on the marketplace, and your work will be lost.<\/p>\n
