Being transported between another world and sewers, in a matter of days, is enough to convince Moira she needs a better place to live than her office. Unfortunately, accessing her bank accounts is far too much a risk of tipping off the CIA. So she uses her emergency mission-gone-wrong rainy day fund (because if anything, Moira is always prepared) and rents a studio on the cheapest side of town (ie the wrong type of place that would accept cash upfront), under the name Ellen Parsons.





Fortunately, she has enough left over for some furniture. The space might be small, but she'll make the most of it. Moira's spent enough time in hotels, from mission to mission, to make herself comfortable anywhere. And its a far happier home than the cell she was detained in.



Maybe she'll even give baking a try

12:45 pm: Just a CIA Chick in a Mutant World
Pshhh, who the hell thought it would be a good idea to have Moira MacTaggert teach Home Ec? She barely even knows how to cook. Oh, that's right, she's still a female CIA agent in a man's world. Hopefully the school's more interested in survival skills and MacGyver-ing than baking cakes.

Once upon a time, Moira stumbled upon mutant-kind. She joined up with Charles and co. until one fateful day the headquarters they were working out of fell under attack. A lot of good men died that day. And not so good men. But nonetheless, they were her men. And that's the last she remembers of the whole affair.

Ever since returning to the CIA, Moira's been determined to find them again. Mutant-kind. The ones she befriended. And the ones who wrought such destruction. How does she go back to the rest of the world, knowing what's out there? She's been tracking Shaw and the Hellfire Club across the globe, determined to avenge the deaths of her men. And according to her intel, they've been buzzing about this school.

Its not only that though. She's been keeping close tabs on inexplicable events. Bizarre occurrences. Unusual reports. And the sightings around this area have been unprecedented. People flying. Flawless jewel heists. Mysterious lights. Eventually, she's bound to find more mutants. And at the center of it all - she hasn't given up hope - Charles Xavier.

The CIA thinks she's infiltrating a possible communist school. They never question anything when communism is involved. And she intends to keep it that way.

And if she finds what she's looking for? She might never go back.

(Sticking with First Class movie canon up to the attack on HQ (as discussed with relevant characters). Unfortunately, its rather hard to reconcile movie Moira with epic bamf comic Moira. But they both know how to handle a machine gun. And have a fierce maternal streak.)
