Job Title: Quality Engineer Technician

Reports to: Aerospace NPI Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer Technician to support quality assurance efforts in aerospace manufacturing. This role involves conducting inspections, supporting quality processes, and assisting in resolving production issues to ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspection & Testing: Conduct inspections of materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards (e.g., AS9100).
- Root Cause Analysis: Assist in identifying and resolving quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, audits, and corrective actions for traceability and compliance.
- Process Support: Support quality improvement initiatives and assist in process validations for aerospace components.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry and regulatory standards, including ISO 9001 and AS9100D requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Associateโs degree in Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 2+ years in a quality assurance role, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMMs).
- Familiarity with quality standards like AS9100, ISO 9001, and GD&T principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
