MDM4U Statistics Assignment 2017-12-04
Here it is! Due at the beginning of class on Wednesday.
MPM1D Linear Relations Test coming up 2017-11-29
Your test will be on Monday, December 4th. Here’s some review stuff:
MDM4U Confidence Intervals 2017-11-29
This is a challenging topic. Here’s a version of the note we took in class today:
Homework for tonight is Page 465 #3.
MPM1D Solving Problems with Linear Relations 2017-11-28
We worked on modelling and solving problems using linear relations today. Here are the questions we tried during class:
13 – Linear Relations Problems
We completed 1, 2, 3, and most of 6. Finish up questions 4 and 5 for homework.
MDM4U More Normal Distribution Practice 2017-11-28
We reviewed the normal distribution calculations we’ve been doing, looked at a real-world example of poor sampling and measurement bias, and then had a quiz!
07 – Normal Distribution z-score Quiz
You have an assignment (Monday) and a test (Wednesday) next week.

Here’s what you worked on yesterday (we answered these questions together today):
05 – Normal Distribution z-score Practice
At the end of class today I handed out these pages for you to work on. Spend a half-hour or so this weekend to make sure you can solve a variety of questions.
MPM1D Linear Relations Practice 2017-11-24
Today we practised switching between Standard Form and Slope-y-Intercept Form, then we used the whiteboards for some graphing practice.
The most common problems were regarding slope (negative vs. positive, rise vs. run) and perpendicular lines.
Here are some extra practice questions. They’re mostly about writing equations to fit the description of lines. You can also graph each equation and confirm you’re correct using Desmos or another graphing website.
