Summary: The year is 1840 and Kurt's family has been left with a heavy debt following his father's stroke. With only his ability to bear child as leverage to pay the debt back in full, the young tutor makes a deal for the salvation of his family, all it will cost him is a child, his child--the one he will carry for the man willing to pay his family's debt. The only thing Kurt never counted on was falling in love with the man or his baby.
