What if the built world adapted to us rather than us adapting to the built world? Jade has redesigned a piece of the built world that is commonly found and used in the public realm. This stereo image, perhaps an illusion, nonetheless creates the sensation of a rich and layered space that surrounds the listener. While the music may originate from two separate speakers, the combined effect multiplies the spatial, emotional, and visceral impact. At the Third Street Gallery’s exhibition, “In Stereo,” 10 pairs of artists create separate artworks that coordinate with one another to create a unique and immersive, total vision.

But wait – teddy bear becomes implicated in the gilded Baroque intrigue! Innocent no more, these furry friends come into a new life as the story unfolds.
