The most perfect pizza ever was bacon/cheddar from Pinocchio's, which is no longer in business, at least not around here. It was pretty much as described: Made with cheddar instead of mozarella and of course bacon as a topping. Other places make it, but no one has ever held a candle to theirs. Nothing healthy about it at all, but boy it was good. If I were condemned to death, I would want it for my last meal.

The Courage to Heal by Ellen Bass and Laura Davis. Without reading this, I never would have had the courage to confront my parents.

Cat's Eye by Margaret Atwood. It kind of reminded me that I'm not alone in feeling different.

Lost Souls by Poppy Z. Brite. It didn't really change my life per se, but it was the first book I read that I thought was good enough to read over and over and remains to this day my favorite book of all time.
