Harry Lloyd

Just over a month ago, I watched Dr Who, as I always do since David Tennant made it worth watching, and a fairly new young actor drew my attention away from the lovely Mr Tennant. Harry Lloyd as Jeremy Baines/Son of Mine was amazing and excited me in ways that I am sure the character was not intended to. Just as Elijah Wood drew me in with his blue eyes and the beautiful way he spoke English as Frodo, this guy captured me with his blazing stare and the same almost accentless English. I was compelled to look into who he was and what else he had acted in and I wasn't disappointed. Cute as a button in David Copperfield and Goodbye Mr Chips, he has matured into a gorgeous young man capable of commanding me as Baines and then in turns want to mother him, laugh at him, and be young enough to have a crush on him as Jason Bradley in Vital Signs, a medical drama screened in 2006 in the UK.

I am so hoping his career goes from strength to strength so I can enjoy watching him on screen for many years. He seems so far to be another actor like David Tennant and Elijah Wood, who can say a lot with his eyes and who can get right into a character.
