Like the games that came before it, Mörk Sol loves our community. You are encouraged to create hacks, classes, NPCs, adventures, dangers, and more. Following the simple guidelines of this license allows you to create products of any kind claiming compatibility with Mörk Sol and publish it. You can even make money off it without us taking a cut.

If you adhere to these terms you are allowed to publish free or commercial material based upon and/or declaring compatibility with Mörk Sol without express permission from Infinite Citadel.

Art and text from our books may not be reused or translated, unless you have our explicit permission. You can use the names of dangers, locations, characters and organizations of the game world. You are free to use the map of the Span and the logos and symbols of it's factions and organizations, available here:

The mechanics and game rules of Mörk Sol may be reused and referenced freely.
Branding

Your product cannot use the Infinite Citadel logo or Mörk Sol logo without permission.

You are allowed and encouraged (but not required) to use the Mörk Sol compatibility logo.

You're not allowed to give the impression that this is an official Mörk Sol product or that we endorse or sponsor you in any way unless we've made special arrangements with you.

Infinite Citadel takes no responsibility for any legal claims against your product.
To the extent authorized by the laws of the State of Indiana, the licensee (you) shall indemnify and hold Infinite Citadel harmless against any and all claims, demands, damages, liabilities and costs incurred by the licensee which directly or indirectly result from, or arise in connection with, any negligent act or omission of Infinite Citadel, its agents, or employees, pertaining to its activities and obligations under this license.

You must legibly include the following in your product and on the website or storefront where you promote the product:

Infinite Citadel reserves the right to cancel this license, without explanation or warning, for any licensee deemed to be damaging Infinite Citadel's brand or reputation.
Content that is racist, sexist, ableist, homophobic, transphobic or derogatory towards marginalized groups has no place in Mörk Sol. If you have a problem with this please contact us so we can make sure to deny your docking request.
