[ A voice, quietly sniffling and sobbing, can be heard. It doesn't speak for a few moments, but eventually, it calms down enough to speak.

The PCD says the message comes from Yuma Chitose, but it doesn't sound much like her. Her voice is rough and raspy, and she sounds like she's half-choking on tears as she talks. She even drops her normal speech quirk for this.]

I'm so sorry. I didn't mean for this to happen. I'm sorry.

Please don't hate us.

[The line goes quiet, and the short message ends.]

Hey, is everyone okay? Yuma heard lots of people were having weird dreams about hospitals and stuff. The Animus were probably making you have those, but I'm sure they'll stop soon if they haven't yet!

[Video; Filtered to Mami and Kyoko]:

[Yuma's curled up in a corner of the main room, in a miniature nest of blankets. She looks a little worried.]

Kyoko, Mami-oneechan, you two haven't had any bad dreams, right? You can tell Yuma if anything happened!

Hey, hey, don't run away!

[See Yuma. See Yuma run around with a cheerful smile on her face. Same as any other little girl, right? Only, she seems to be acting a bit... strange.

By "strange", we mean that the girl who usually does her best to behave well is attacking a small group of man-eating rabbits with a giant white hammer.]

Well, fine! I'll just have to chase you, then.

[Somebody intervene before somebody gets hurt (and it probably won't be the rabbits).]

Hey, is everyone listening?

[A frantic little green-haired girl is holding up a poster drawn on old plywood in what looks like crayon. She waves it a little to make sure people are paying attention and points to it as she speaks.]

This is Mami-oneechan. She's older than Yuma, and she's really nice and smart! Yuma can't find her, but she's definitely here. Has anyone seen her? It's really important that she comes back, okay? Yuma and Mami's other friends are worried about her.

[Today, Yuma's decided to try her hand at a very familiar game found in arcades and carnivals everywhere: the ever popular Whack-A-Mole! And she's quite good at it, too. Violently good, in fact, as she slams down that hammer with a bit too much force than seems likely to come from a girl her size. The machine rocks a bit on its legs, but manages to right itself.

Before she can do too much more damage, the vendor hands her a the largest stuffed animal in the booth and waves her away.]

Wah, awesome, awesome! Yuma won a panda. This festival is great! It's much better than losing powers.

[When the PCD flickers on, a little green-haired girl who can't be more than ten wandering around outside by herself.]

Kyoko? Mami-oneechan?

[Please excuse her, she seems to be having a minor freak out right about now. The screaming and wobbly chin are absolutely nothing to worry about. :)]

This isn’t right--! Yuma knows the barrier came down! Kyoko! Mami-oneechan! ...Homura-oneechan? [She’s very loud when she calls, but she notably hesitates on that last name.]

Where is everyone? You’re not supposed to leave Yuma alone after all that! Kyoko, come back... Please?
