I often end up going on rants about how good things are. Because things are REALLY good. Like, insanely good.<\/p>\n

I also do a lot of talking about “changing the world” or whatever. It’s worth noting (see the Hendrix quote above) that it’s kind of hard to change the world if you don’t know what’s actually going on. So this page will hopefully help you get your head together. Cool? Cool.<\/p>\n

I know I know, the news is super scary and filled with terrorism and unusual weather events, people have opinions about Donald Trump, etc. But we also actually factually live in a world that is radically radically better than anyone realizes.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s almost impossible to keep in mind how good we have it given how often we get told \u201cThings are really bad! Buy my product or watch these ads while you try not to think about how awful the world is!\u201d or “Can\u2019t pay rent? Work harder!\u201d etc.<\/p>\n

I suspect that this whole \u201cNo wait, things aren\u2019t as bad as they seem, that\u2019s just what the news tells you! Things are actually great!\u201d rant will probably be a continuing theme in my life.<\/p>\n
