OUR IMPACT
Our achievements 2024-25

Moor Trees creates and expands native broadleaf woodlands on Dartmoor, forming a mosaic of restored habitats through natural regeneration of native species, and is helping to improve connectivity of habitats through the planting of trees. We grow our own trees in our two Community Tree Nurseries using locally sourced seed from Dartmoor and surrounding areas.
Since 2000 Moor Trees has planted over 195,000 trees and supported the creation of more than 175 woodlands and hedgerows. We currently provide the opportunity to over 275 volunteers each year to reconnect to nature and enhance their wellbeing. At the heart of our mission lies a powerful purpose: connecting communities, improving biodiversity and combating climate change - the most urgent challenges of our time.
