Monitor Bandwidth Usage Software is a tool for real-time monitoring of the Internet bandwidth. It has a user friendly design.

The developer has kept things really simple. All you have to do is turn the automatic log on and you'll start receiving live information about the bandwidth.

This program is not only useful for viewing the live information, but it can also log it. You can set the time between checks, which can vary from 1 second to 24 hours. Obviously a more detailed log means more information, so I selected to do a check once every second. The log is automatically saved in a text file, and can be accessed at any time. There is also the option to copy the history to the clipboard, which make things a lot faster if you need the information for something else. You also have a history graph which shows the bandwidth activity as two variables. A red one representing the Upload speed, and a green one for the download speed. Other than that, the graph doesn't show anything else, which makes it useless in my opinion. It could have shown the time and date at least, and maybe which exact program is using the bandwidth. This however is the only flaw I found. The program is ultimately good for its simplicity and functionality.
