Wow has it really been almost a month since I last updated??? Jegus. Most of you probably know/heard most of these on plurk/AIM, but for the sake of those on just lj, here's what's been goin' on. Promise I'm not dead, lmao.

Anyway. For the first half of this summer, I:

► Got a job at the Iolani Palace gift shop! It's a relatively well-known, historical tourist trap and though I've learned enough Hawaiian history back in like, elementary school, I still keep learning new things every day I come into work. My coworkers are great and everyone is really awesome - much better than my last job. orz

► Finally realized my grandmother is getting old, as she doesn't remember me or any of my cousins that live in the same area as her. She's turning 91 next month and my mom's heading to Hong Kong to check up on her. We wanted to bring her down here to stay with us for a few months, but the medical insurance isn't jiving; basically she's too old to get on a plane now and the US officials don't want to be held responsible/take care of medical issues should she have any here. Which is pretty bull, but what can you do. Mom's thinking of an alternative, so I guess we'll have to wait and see.

► Turned twenty. Had a rad karaoke party and my friends drew me dave and dicks, my best bro sang How Do I Live, and I got Pokemon Black. My homies are awesome.

► Experienced the most emotionally draining week of my entire life.

► Am getting back into uni!

► Got an awesome Dave shirt ~~yes this deserves its own bullet point thing~~. Pics will come later.

And... that's about it for now. :|a Even though I don't always update regularly, I still check flist often so I haven't forgotten about you guys or anything! Also, if you need me for anything, you can always ping me on AIM @ unyields or plurk @ unversed!
