argh i cant wait for school to be out! ive got major french homework to do tonight (although i probably wont get to it until lunch tomorrow), i totaly failed my biology quiz today (only 7 out of 18 right!) and im scared to of my algebra 2 final. i have my graphic art final on thursday but i think thatll go okay. lkdndsf! school sucks. i did get my yearbook though. its super ugly but its fun to laugh at. i think my school pictures are slowly and slowly getting less ugly.
haha today in art, i showed this guy one of my old sketches from the beginning of the year, and he was all, "wow, thats a perfect sketch! youre just perfect, arent you christina?" haha aww :) and then some guy came in the room, and my teacher introduced me to him and was all, "this is christina, shes a sophomore and shes a genius!" hahaha.

my parents always complain that i dont go outside enough...so this weekend i started a little flower garden outside, and this morning my dad and i went out to play tennis. ive never been really good at tennis, but today my dad taught me how to serve properly and he said i did a couple really good ones. i told him i dont mind having to wake up early on saturday morning to go out and play tennis if it will keep them from always complaining that i dont excercise ever. i planted 4 rows of seeds and two potted plants outside in the backyard. we bought another gerbera daisy plant. my mom has bought them twice before but they keep dying off. so i thought id give it a shot. i also bought these bright little fuzzy flowers..i dont know what theyre called but theyre really colorful. i should try taking pictures once i get some sprouts up.
im practicing making tshirt designs. i dont care if its too hard, i want to try it at least once. my dad said once he just used lots and lots of coats of spraypaint, and he said it lasted quite a while.

i was talking to some people in my history class today and somehow we got onto the subject of weird dreams weve had...i just realized that a lot of my dreams are about . its totally weird. i remembered one where i dreamed my school flooded and we all died. then i remembered one from when i was like, seven, where my mom tried to kill my brother with a knife but i stopped her. and there was one a few years ago where this guy was chasing me through the forest with a gun. and there was one from a looooong time ago where i dreamed i brought a lion home as a pet and it ate my cat. and you know that little hand person on the cover of hamburger helper boxes? i had a dream when i was really young that he was attacking me...he moved around like that hand on the addams family, and then i shoved him in the oven and he died. haha. i have such demented dreams. oh and the other day, i dreamed that 4 guys i know all got plastic surgery so that their hands would be the same. i wish i could record these things so i could watch them later. haha.

im gonna set up a little portfolio folder online just so i can keep all my presentable work in one place. after i get that set up, im going to email this one ska band and ask if they need some flyers or website stuff or anything like that done. im planning on doing some simple stuff like that for free so i can build up a proper portfolio and gain some experience before i start trying to do it for pay.
i <333333333 enjoi skateboards, with all my heart. they have such awesome style...its so clean cut, but it still has a grungey/messy skater sort of look to it. and theyre hilarious. and rodney mullen! i swear, those guys are my idols. <3 the panda.
4 totally weird songs i cant stop listening to:
1. "the alien song": red aunts w/ exene cervernkova
2. "jilted john": the vandals
3. "do you feel it?": funeral oration
4. "get out of my life": adolescents
i wanna go to warped again this year...ill have to remember to call up michelle soon :) hopefully i wont forget!

dogtown and z boys is such a great movie. i thought it was gonna be a real movie but it was actually a documentary. the entire history of skateboarding. those kids were seriously hardcore. but it had me thinking, why isnt anything today as good as it was yesterday? i mean, a long time ago, the punks were actually punks, art was done the hard way (no computers for cheaters like me haha), and "skateboarding is not a crime" actually meant something. i hate how skateboarding is so commercial these days, what with the xgames or whatever, and tony hawk, and element is really pissing me off cos they make ugly girly shirts with fuzzy letters and crap. everything just seems so cheap these days. why do people have to try to make money off of EVERYTHING? those reality shows are really pushing it too. dont laugh, but i think id kill to be able to have lived during the 80s.
