VONGOLA SHIP

Link to history of Vongola, much has been retconned due to new players but so you get an idea: here.
This Vongola yacht is currently the sixth ship that they have owned... Hopefully it will last longer than its predecessors. The captain, Tsuna, carries Vongola ship the Fifth with him at all times in a small bottle.

Vongola Ship the Sixth

Tsuna obtained this steel yacht on a “business trip” with Reborn. It was given to him as a gift/reward after he rescued countless ships ~~and eight kittens~~ from a burning shipyard. It’s not as big as Vongola the Fifth, only measuring about 54.2 m long. Its cruise speed is 14 knots, and its top speed is 16.5 knots. It is designed to be flashy and grab pirates’ attention so that outlaws will be lured close and attacked by Gokudera, new captain of the SDC.

THE SHIP
An old abandoned ship, the Opportunity is a rather reminiscent of the old Spanish Galleons, and was probably majestic back in her day. Currently, the ship is getting refurbished so that it can hold in all the new technologies. Right now, the only things which is up to date are the bridge (new technologies to drive this baby efficently with a small crew) and the kitchen (OMG A FRIDGE AND AN OVEN). The bathroom is coming up nicely too.

THE NAME
Named so by Hungary, the ship was previously unnamed [or the name was scratched] when Vietnam managed to stumble across it. One can say it's an act of opportunity, yes? And obviously, if no one is going to claim it, then ~~the Asian gangster~~ girl's going to take it. Spain is quite sure it's one of his old ships.

When Jessie first made MM_SS she said we could use it for drabble wars.... only we never had. What's up with that? So as a warm-up to the Secret Santa assignments (NO PRESSURE MODS *flails*) I open this here Chaos Thread!

For those wondering what a chaos thread is: You start off with a prompt and characters. Someone fills it with a 3 sentence+ drabble (go as long as you want but over a page and it's turning into a fic not a drabble) and then they add their own prompt which someone else can then fill. The chaos part comes in in that more than one person can fill a prompt with their own take on it and still add their own prompts to be filled which can get crazy and create prompts&threads in all sorts of directions.

Art & doodles are acceptable, as are stick figures if they're lol-worthy and prompt filling.

As it's MM, try to stick to MM characters. You can always prompt something completely different but don't be surprised if no one knows how to fill it.

All opening threads should start with your own prompt! Ready set go!

BUT! Since none of you are Chuck Norris (unless you are holding out on me), I will interrupt your daily routine to update you on the

WORLD CONFERENCE

Basically, it's going to be happening this monday and tuesday, just so we are aware on dates. We are NOT going to be having some major log for this, though if there is something you feel like writing out, please, go ahead - I'd love to read it. So basically, your character will be arriving sometime late today - early tomorrow, and leaving late tuesday, unless they wanna stick around (america's ship is big and mostly empty except for like, 3 people, so he wouldn't hate more company ;-;).

The topics of discussion in this world meeting will include robots, uniforms and and a vampire apocalypse - Surprisingly enough, one of these topics is actually serious. ALL OF THE COUNTRIES ARE INVITED, and they should show up because it will be fun and it's assumable they showed up, unless you explicitly say otherwise (you know, HERE would be a good spot to do that). Everybody who is not a country but will be involved (for example, Mashiro will be America's secretary and do all the work he doesn't want to do), feel free to comment here just so we kinda know you guys will be around.

I THINK THAT'S EVERYTHING let me know if i'm missing anything in particular.

EDIT: RIGHT, IF THERE IS ANY EVENT YOU WANT HAPPENING IN THIS CONFERENCE THAT YOU THINK EVERYBODY SHOULD BE MADE AWARE OF, SAY IT HERE. Ie, if France is going to impulsively get naked halfway through, you guys should say it here. That being said, France being naked should be implied so lol.

Vongola and Sub Crew Post // We are the SDF

Sub Post. Please track and/or add anything I forgot that is important. Please keep in mind the sub travels with the Vongola at all times and you should track BOTH posts even if you're only one ship or the other.

Who are we: The sub
What do we do officially: Kind of whatever but we pretend/are bounty hunters. (Fujiko does... whatever she feels like :| She's whimsical, you're all encouraged to do likewise)
How big is the sub: REALLY REALLY big, the crew itself is on the small side atm so enjoy that

The sub and Vongola are always together. If a curse affects one ship, it affects the other. Any island they dock at they dock together. There needs to be CONSTANT communication between captains and muns to keep on top of things. If you are on the sub, you should in general try to get to know the Vongola too. Even if you don't eat breakfast with them you will see them around~ If you visit one ship you're as good as visiting both.

Why two separate ships: Tactical reasons, and firepower mostly. That said, the sub is a hair faster and yes, new people will see the sub surface before they see the Vongola cruise ship but aside from that, they should always be together. The sub is surfaced except when traveling. Visiting the Vongola from one to the other should be about as easy as even just finding someone's room on the same ship (sometimes easier.) That said we also keep two separate ships for character conflicts. Tousen ticks people off (particularly shinigami) but those wishing to avoid him are capable of such on the sub despite traveling together.

What are we: Bounty hunters. We're not technically pirates (this doesn't rule out pirate activity such as painting heists, blowing up islands or whatever else, it's a name factor really) but some of us are wanted. That is where the Justice Brigade comes in. They are Fujiko's "No no see civilians & marines! We're good guys! Listen to Orphe talk about justice while I go steal that guy's wallet" mask. We do go on bounty hunting missions (Vongola AND sub; it's a tactical purpose where Vongola is bait and sub is switch) and make money that way. We never kill marines. Because that would make them mad and really who wants that hornets nest. Also it would make the Justice Brigade cry.

Vague SDF guidelines:
1. Play nice
2. Any crack you want to involve the whole crew/fleet in POST A COMMENT TO THIS THREAD. Examples: in the past there have been demon attacks, zombie attacks, mummy cat attacks, singing viruses etc.
3. For IC stuff, Fujiko emphasizes buddy system because she is scared of everyone dying. You don't have to humor her but she'll get mad if you get hurt.
4. We stop at islands all the time and play kind of fast and loose about that. Any big important ones should be discussed in comments to this post!
5. If you want to join the crew and you aren't added to the list or you're not 100% sure we'll IC pick you up, feel free to post. Likewise feel free to post if you want to leave. We'd appreciate it. If you disappear/drop out, you'll get taken from the list orz.
6. Anyone can visit any time. Seriously. If however you try to eat/maim/hurt someone expect the ass-kicking of your life. yaaay.
7. No matter how much Fujiko bitches about it, we will ALWAYS pick up anyone who asks provided we're not 100% sure they're trying to kill us. So if it makes sense for your character to instantly offer a ride, DO SO. Just try to let me/her/someone know. And ignore her bitching about it because she just doesn't trust most people but yes, the sub has a rule about picking up anyone who can be useful and needs it.

The sub is a VERY large submarine and I have the history of it kicking around somewhere but according to Killua he and Gon got it from some guy who gave it to them as long as they made him captain. They didn't but the sub is still around. It has a mini-submarine, several suits for scavenging shipwrecks if you feel like it. There's a very handy ship docking bay for people wishing come visit and inside we currently have to spare ships. Jyabura's schooner (6 rooms, a galley, and a small garden) and Fujiko's sailboat. (Small and really fast.) There is also a helicoptor and a helicoptor launchpad.

We have 50 spare bedrooms, rec rooms, exercise rooms, 2 kitchens, a very large galley, a walk-in freezer, bridge/helm lounge, ammunition storage compartment, greenhouse, torpedo compartment, pump room, engine room, controls room, and a stable. Various rooms can be made over into whatever you feel like. There's several decks and the bedrooms all have numbers and door plaques. Kaku and Lucci still both have their old rooms reserved unless we actually fill up which is unlikely. This is also because Fujiko loves and loves to set traps there even more.

The Vongola Crew is run by the Vongola family. The captain is Tsuna, tutored and advised by Reborn. This ship is above water and while the sub goes underwater, the Vongola ship very much does not. See their post here.

The Vongola and sub travel together. This is REALLY REALLY important. If you are on the sub, you would pretty much have to stay only ever in your room not to meet Vongola people. Don't get me wrong, that's totally acceptable too. But just so you know, walking over to hang out with the Vongola is about as easy as walking down to the greenhouse to grab an orange. Yeah it's that easy.

As the rank goes up it'll reach up to around 250,000 biweekly for C.P.O. Source for U.S. marine pay here Seaman Apprentice are paid 65,000 ($650) still biweekly. Seaman First Class is paid 70,000-----

She can and does talk but it tends to be insulting, especially if you're male. He's ordering a steadier supply of milk for the two of them. Keep Tim away from her.
Gintoki nofourthwall -- Pirate Hunter, doesn't want to enlist, same deal Havoc used to have.

Tsuzuki has: Magical birds that fly around the ship, quietly. At night, they glow pale white. Also a German Shepherd (East Blue breed we claim) named Suzie from Smoker and Tashigi.

If you character gets a pet~ ADD A COMMENT TO THIS POST!!! and then I'll add them in~ Note: No matter how much Smoker B&Ms, yes, you can have pets. The only ones banned are those that are dangerous to people around them etc. or those that don't have room to exist on the ship (komodo dragons? = Very very no. Hamsters? Not even Smoker will care) Also southbirds are banned because they're loud and really fucking annoying. Smoker will oh so not discreetly free any and all southbirds and/or ship them back to Jaya.

Kamui unlucky_blood -- Brother to Subaru, secretly vampire, currently wherever Subaru goes and adviser regarding Herr Major & vampire army plot.
Subaru halycon_bite -- Vongola is semi-permanent residence but staying for many extended visits and helping with the Major (nazi vampire WW3 instigator) SECRETLY a vampire himself but doesn't kill humans. Your characters don't know this unless he tells you so.

Ship/Marine notes:
In general you can assume Smoker pursues pirates constantly. Any foe stronger than Tashigi they face, Smoker will do as he did in Alabasta and jump to the front telling his men to stay back but we're unlikely to face a lot. You can pretty much assume they fight a pirate every other day even when docked unless he's on a special mission.

If you want the ship somewhere specific/docked somewhere, comment here so everyone can know about it! YAY! For this reason, if you're in this list, you'll probably want to bookmark/stalker-pin this in order to keep updated on islands/travels so we're all on the same page. <3

Every day there are watches set up to keep an eye on the Grand Line and stay on guard etc. It's a rotation schedule that I doubt we need to be too specific about but you could fake rearranging it or swapping time slots for the purpose of posts etc. There are also daily exercises and drills along with any special training and no excuses except injuries will be accepted. That said, anyone from Smoker's ship is allowed to visit NON-pirate ships but if you're gone more than 3 days, you should probably make a note here even if you're sneaking out. If you are visiting a pirate ship, lie to him and sneak out, just be sneaky. Assuming the pirate isn't on his hate list he won't mind overly much though.

No killing civilians though or he'll get furious. Killing pirates is only if necessary and depending on the circumstances he might let the killing go with a glare and a warning to be more careful.

Highly helpful link on OP marines here everyone starts off at seaman recruit.

Punishments might be doled out in true marine fashion with mopping floors, peeling potatoes or the like. Depends on what you do and if you get caught. ^_^ You can always give yourself a punishment if you want :| But if so put down the nature of punishment you want and crime because Smoker is tough and crazy but if he's going to be really mean he'll have to have a good reason.

It's simple. Ever wondered what England's favorite tea is? Or why Jyabura won't cut his beard? What's the deal with Fay and his sparkling? Here's your chance to find out the little, or big, things you've always wanted to know about the characters in the game. Be serious, be funny, do whatever you want.

1 ~~cut a hole in a box~~ Comment with your characters journal. Blank comment or otherwise.
2 You, the mun, or your characters reply to those comments with any sort of question you want
3 Characters respond (for example it'd be Usopp doing the talking not Jessie) however they like be it truthfully or a flying sack of bullcorn
4 Be comment whores and ask other characters questions

THINGS TO TAKE NOTE OF: Nothing that happens here gets transferred into the game. Yes, a lot of this is happening while IC but it's strictly for the lulz. Pulling a Jessie and just copy/pasting

I'm usually pretty good at keeping track of who's on what and who's where BUT for those of you who lack the attention spans (HI DENISE~), here's a post for everyone. The crew is pretty lax and no one really has a position except Sensei 'cause that's how we roll so if you want something different up here, then just lemme know. Also, lemme know if I left anything off, bound to happen.

BLOODY BUNNY There aren't any pictures of the actual bloody bunny ship, just know that it's pretty gigantic, and if you think it has a room for something then it most likely does. Some attempts at actual pictures might be made in the future. As for basic looks it has a very, very large picture of the logo (THIS) painted on the side. The inside has THIS WALLPAPER all over (courtesy of Norway). The flag that flies high while they're sailing is THIS.

PUSSY WAGON It looks like THIS. Rukia got it commissioned for Renji's birthday, and the name of it is all the more amusing being that neither of them know what it actually means. People are free to hop from one ship to the other, the Pussy Wagon is just sorta attached to the Bloody Bunny, doesn't really get manned or sailed. Renji supposedly charges 100 bucks a ride but the chances of him ever actually collecting are slim to none.

Okay, consider this an experiment in organization! The Strawhat crew has gotten pretty large. With so many characters and muns with different schedules and availabilities, things can really get confusing! I'm hoping this will help us all stay on the same page and help us keep more organized in the future.

I'd ask that every player who is currently a member of the Strawhat crew please [stalkerpin] this post and then send me an im, pm, or leave a comment saying you've done so (I don't want to accidentally miss anyone!). I think we all know how pinning works, but just in case, all you need to do is click on the button and set up a notification. Once you do that, you should get a notif every time someone leaves a comment to this post.

Here's where the communication comes into play! Consider this post your catch-all place to notify the crew of any changes in your character's status, to let the crew know we'll be having visitors or that a crew member will be away for a while, to update on whether we are docked or at sea, to discuss upcoming plot or ideas for things the crew can do next...basically anything that the crew would be aware of! With one simple comment everyone will get a notif. LIKE MAGIC.

This is all on an OOC level here so even if, for example, your character sneaks off without telling anyone in the crew where they are going, leaving a comment here to that effect will prevent confusion, because all the muns will know So-and-So has run off to Disneyland, even if (on the IC side of things) the crew doesn't. Also this will be a good way to catch the attention of an elusive mun with hours opposite of your own, and to come up with ideas together for the future! ~THE ONLY LIMIT IS YOUR IMAGINATION~ or something.

This post will always be linked in the sidebar of mm_shipshape so it's easy to find, or you can bookmark it for quick access, too. Just remember that the key here is that people actually comment and keep those communication lines open!
