"Whenever you set out to build a temple, all labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence".
Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
The Mandate
We will find any possible way to empower our children, families, and community with the strength to participate in the ongoing development of their lives, so they can ultimately make decisions as informed citizens.
Our Mission
The Martin Luther King Multi-Purpose Center empowers individuals across generations—children, adults, and elders—through educational, health, cultural, social, and recreational programs. We believe that personal success and community strength go hand in hand.
Rooted in the legacy of Dr. King, we are committed to preserving the ideals of non-violence, peace, human rights, social justice, and equality. Every program, partnership, and initiative reflects our dedication to Building the Beloved Community—a society where dignity, opportunity, and unity thrive.
