These tap-dancing twins are famous for all sorts of work worth checking out, and they do a very decent tribute to Michael Jackson's Dangerous, but seeing people this talented fall short (no offense) of MJ's version teaches a lot of respect for how effortless he makes it seem...even to a hard core fan!

It's still lots of fun and I couldn't even come close, so that's not a critique, just a that's how hard these moves are! And gosh it's a good song, his work is so impossibly catchy!

Alright, well... I made a post maybe a month ago and mentioned how my marching band show this year is Motown. And although we do not play any Jackson 5 or Michael songs, someone still made a Michael design for our shirts. And we voted. And it won. Haha.

Alright and here's my new Thriller poster and also my Michael shirt which I wore both today and yesterday (I never left the house so I felt I could keep on celebrating and wear it again haha).

^ I officially love being in my room now... at least more than I already did. Haha.

^ And the shirt! I got it at Kohl's. There was a gray one that had the Bad album cover on it that I really wanted but there was only one left and it was a large which is not my size... so I instead got this lovely shirt!

I'm having a pretty rough time dealing with the loss of Michael Jackson. The artist who is responsible for my music fanatacism to this day. I've been a huge fan from a young age and have remained a fan. I was shocked and devastated when I found out about his death...I'm still in rather a state of shock and disbelief to be honest. I have been wanting to make some digital artwork as tribute to him. I've decided to join many MJ Lifejournal communities and also to start making some avatars/icons of him.

Technically, it is no longer August 29th where I am, but I didn't have any time during the day to actually come on here and post anything. ^_^; But I'm going to wish MJ a Happy Birthday regardless. ^_^

Happy 51st Birthday Michael! Everything you did during your time on this planet was unforgettable and you truly were a sweet, beautiful human being. I only wish you could have lived to see this, and many other birthdays to come. You may be gone, but you'll forever live on through your music and amazing legacy as the King of Pop, greatest of humanitarians, and as the greatest entertainer that ever lived. And I know that as long as I live I'll continue to play your music, sing your songs, and attempt to dance your dances XD Thank you for spreading so much love, so much joy, and so much fun with everything you did ♥♥♥

Well, I didn't do too much for Michael's birthday actally. I wore one of my MJ t-shirts and blasted his music all through the house...although, I do that every other day too. Haha. I think the coolest thing about today was when I sat down and turned on the tv in the middle of the afternoon he was on so many channels! BET was playing a Remeber the Time special of videos and commentary, an E True Hollywood Story was on, the VH1 movie The Jacksons: An American Dream was on, and the tv guide channel was doing Micheal Jackson coverage all day. ^_^ I guess, I'm just glad to know that so many people still remember, and so many people still care.

Before I end this, I just want everyone on this community to know that your birthday posts, picspams, letters, tributes, etc have really brightened up my day ^_^

I've watched this clip hundreds of times and I never grow tired of it, I especially love how he ends the song with his mime dance, so out of this world!! I think that he was sprinkled with fairy dust :)

I wish I could go back in time and see this performance live.

Happy 51st birthday Michael!

I know you're in a better place, smiling down on us, and celebrating with the people you love. I'm happy for you. I hope you had an amazing day!

For me personally, the day started out great. Today was my day to celebrate Michael... not that I haven't been over the past few months... but today was different. Today I was going to celebrate Michael and it was going to be fun, happy, magical, and full of love. I woke up this morning and I just felt really good. It felt like Michael was alive again or at least his spirit was really near.

I'll be honest and say my day could have much more Michael filled. I wore my new Michael shirt, listened to only Michael, and kept up with all of the lovely birthday posts you guys have already written. Although yesterday I hung up my new Thriller poster. Still I feel much more peaceful at night so I think tonight is when my real celebration will be. I plan on watching a ton of Michael videos, maybe making some icons, just everything and anything Michael.

I wanted to write a personal message to Michael tonight but I never got to it. It doesn't really have to be written today but I figured to write it on his birthday could be cool. There's always tomorrow.

Now that his birthday is coming to an end, I'm starting to feel sad again. It feels like he'll be leaving us again. I can't really explain it much more than that. I'm sure you guys understand... which is why this community is amazing. ♥

Anyways! This is Michael's birthday, even if there's only 43 minutes left of it! So here's a few of my favorite Michael things that either have been my favorite for a really long time or have just helped me get through a lot over the past few months.

^ I've been watching this over the past month or so and it just makes me feel all giddy and childlike.

^ They showed this peformance at Michael's memorial service. When it came on, I completely broke down and balled. It was finally the release that I needed after Michael's passing. This song/performance now holds a special place in my heart.

^ This song just makes me smile... and the video makes me giggle!

^ Cliché I know, but seriously, how can I not add this?!

^ This makes me smile. A lot. Michael is adorable.

^ When he sings When You Wish Upon A Star I get the chills.

^ I really love this video and I can't really give you a good reason as to why other than I find Michael completely irrestistible in it.

^ This is the sweetest interview. Ever. There's two other parts if you're interested.

^ Despite everything that happened between Michael and Pepsi, I love this commercial.

^ Again with the cliché, but how can I not? I'm totally mesmorized when I watch it.

I could post a lot of videos so I'll stop and post some of my favorite pictures now instead. =]

Alright, so it's already past midnight which makes me slightly sad, but I'm glad I did this post and I'm happy that I'm going to be watching Michael videos all night long.

The world has lost a precious jewel and a beautiful soul - but we have also gained so much from this same soul - from this skinny, shy, frightfully talented young man. He had so much to offer the world. And he did just that.

I know a lot of people are still hurting over this loss; but Michael would want us to keep going, to keep trying, to keep smiling. Because I know he's looking down and smiling on us. He would want us to share his legacy with those who have yet to discover it, and to spread it to the generations to come. He wanted us to do things with our talents, just like he did - to stop existing and start living.

So this picspam consists of just a few of the thousands of pictures out there. Each of them focuses on a different part of his life, and they all try to capture moments in his life when he looked truly happy. His smile was contagious so I hope to spread some joy by presenting a lot of these pictures. Please - just look, don't take, and share your thoughts below.

Today, I had planned to have a good day. Yesterday, I planned to have a good day today. I was going to get up early, put on my mj shirt, grab up my overnight bag, and new Sansa Fuze mp3 player loaded with ALL Michael's tracks, and a couple of videos, and I was going to rejoice in the gift that God has given us in the form of Michael, and drive 3 hours to spend the weekend with my family for my uncles' huge birthday bash on a 1300 acre ranch. But when I woke up today, the sky was overcast, threatening rain, and I am meloncholy. I'm still in my PJ's, and I feel as if I am on the verge of crying. I have a lump in my throat that won't go away. Instead, I am not with my family, I didn't make the drive, and I am still here in Clear Lake, in bed, and noone knows how i'm feeling except you, me, and Michael. It makes me smile to hear his music, at least the upbeat tracks. There are some I still cannot listen to without breaking down, and even so, I loaded them on my Fuze anyway. I just skip them when they come up, since my player is set to play my songs randomly. I can't stop thinking about the day I watched his memorial, the fact that he has yet to be buried, and how the rest of his fans and family feel. I feel cheated.

Today, I am grateful that I got to spend the years I did with Michael, but part of me is angry, and wants vengeance for what happened to him. I want justice. I want him back. I want to throw a fit at the fact that this legend is "Gone Too Soon"....

So excuse me, if i'm not upbeat, and i'm sorry if your words don't console me right away, but still, I am making an effort to "Smile, though my heart is breaking"....I just "...Never dreamed he'd leave in summer"...

Around 12:30 my time this morning, when I made my first birthday post in memory of Michael, I had planned to write him a letter. But now, I feel as though my words wouldn't do him justice, and I feel as though i'm out of words to say, but at the same time, I know that Michael already knows how I feel about him, and he already knows what I have to say. But I still feel obligated to write it to him in an entry. Maybe I will get to that, maybe not...

I'm sorry if i've brought anyone down on this day, I really didn't mean to, this is just how i'm feeling right now.

Hello,

My name is Sarah and I am 19 years old. In celebration of Michael's 51st birthday, I wanted to share some of my artwork. For the past few months, I have been so depressed about this whole thing. Usually depression (or boredom) triggers the need for me to draw. I'll tell you right now that in the past few months, I've been drawing nothing but nonstop MJ. I just can't help myself. This man inspired me to draw ever since I was a little girl and still inspires me to this day. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have the dedication and strive for art that lives within me right now.

Sometimes, I cry out of nowhere. One time I was drawing a sketch and all of a sudden my eyes filled up and I couldn't stop the tears from flowing down. It was all just too much.

As devoted fans, we all, as Akon put it, cry out of joy.

Michael, thank you for everything. Happy Birthday. I love you.
