It will forever boggle my mind why no one on Vivian's side of the family did not think I was in danger of her when years prior she put a pitchfork through a cousin's foot. Like no one thought okay look perhaps this infant is in danger, nope.

When I started talking at 9 months, and I truly believe it was to articulate to someone that I needed help. And I suddenly started getting fat lips and black eyes, no one thought there was a co-relation? I defiantly refused to say Mama until I was almost two and was speaking in total sentences by then. I absolutely refused to say mama. Defiance was in my DNA.

They knew she took a picture for it and put it through a cousin's foot and then has an infant with fat lips and black eyes and no one does a damn thing. I don't care if it was 1969 and then the '70s. Hell even today children services sucks nationwide. Someone just could have took me from her and said we're taking her. I don't think she would have put up much of a fuss. I truly believe she wanted an infant so she would have someone to control and fate gave her me.

They knew and did nothing. I will never be able to get past that. And I don't need to get past that. They knew what she had done, what she was capable of, then has an infant with injuries, and apparently it was like oh well.

Future Mrs Cardinal in another neighborhood. She left the nest yesterday and she's now in a neighbor's tree today. Photos of Mr and Mrs Cardinal also included in this post.

Mr and Mrs Cardinal are molting so that's why they look scruffy right now. Mr Cardinal kept a very good watch on his family yesterday. I believe there is one other baby cardinal, that had left the nest the day before. I could hear them in another tree yesterday.

At one of my doctor's appointments on Thursday I got kenalog. Today I have kenalog flush. So it looks like I'm wearing a very light pink coating a blush, not garish in any way. It's actually quite flattering and I'm the last person who would say I look flattering. I don't wear makeup.

The only time I wore any makeup was in high school I had a frosted eyes shadow pallet with purple, white, pink. I put purple in a stripe in the inner corner, then a stripe of white in the center of my eyelid, and then the pink on the outer part of my eyelid in a stripe, and then I would just swoop it across. And as always chapstick. That was the extent of my makeup wearing.

I'm recovering from yesterday today. It was truly that bad.

Went to the doctor today and all along the street flags were at half mast. When I parked, I googled why and learned they were flying half mast for the children that were killed in the school in Minnesota.

Flying flags at half mast for kids killed in another school shooting solves exactly what? It does what? It stops future school shootings how exactly? It doesn't, duh. It's as effective as thoughts and prayers. It does Jack fucking shit.

An empty token that only makes gun nuts feel good.

Oh, and Ashli Babbitt will ALWAYS be a treasonous piece of shit who absolutely should've been shot. She was warned about the gun, she was told to get back but nope. She stormed the capital to try to overthrow the election and possibly kill the VP and she fucked around and found out.

As a historian I'm beyond sickened trump is now trying to erase slavery from American history. Our history contains the good, the bad, & the ugly. You can't whitewash it, yet white men have been doing just that for centuries.

This country was BUILT by slaves. The founding fathers owned slaves. Slavery is mentioned in the Constitution. The White House itself was built by slaves. These are facts and cannot be erased from history.

Going through museums and having things you don't like removed is something a dictator does. There are not enough people protesting this. Democratic lawmakers are I have no idea what they're doing. They just think everyone can wait until midterms in 2026.

You do not follow the rules when someone is breaking every single one that they can. Not to mention he's trying to do away with mail-in voting and just make it in person. That totally right there wipes out military voting. I guess Elon told him he wouldn't hack the system and let him win again or something?

We're just sitting here watching the country in a train wreck. No one is trying to stop it and it's really frustrating.

I will say I do like the governor of California's tweets. They are funny as fuck and after he started tweeting in all caps exactly like Trump, Trump stopped tweeting in all caps. He mocks Trump so fucking good. So points to him for that. And points to South Park. Other than that who the hell is calling him out? Oh a lawmaker might go to some public meeting and say something but no one's really trying to do anything to stop him from all these executive orders. No one's trying to point out the fact that he can't legally shut down departments that need congressional approval. Nope nothing.

So we just become a country that ignores our history, protects pedophiles, and becomes Hitler 2.0.

A Facebook friend was doing a Dibs art project. Basically they would post the art piece and whoever replied with dibs first was the winner. I received the one that I won today. They did 50 of them and the last five that were up for dibs today we're a free-for-all, as if you had previously won one you couldn't do dibs again. So I just won another one.

Pictured is the one I got today in the mail. It is also 3D but I don't have 3D glasses on hand.

Sherwin-Williams HQ Bad Vibes

(2 pix included in post. I didn't even really want to take photos of it.) After we ate last night and decided to walk around Public Square, when we turn onto Euclid I see a building that was never there before. Mind you I have not been in downtown Cleveland in 9 years I think. As soon as I saw this building it was giving me like a bad vibe.

It's not like evil or haunted anything like that. It's a brand new building. It just was like bad vibes I don't know how else to word it. I didn't think it was an ugly building. And actually I saw some photos online when I googled to see if anyone else got like bad vibes from it, you could see like the setting sun basically through the building which is pretty cool.

I can't for the life of me pinpoint how and or why this building is giving me bad vibes. When we were driving home I googled the Sherwin-Williams headquarters in downtown Cleveland. That's when I learned it's not even occupied yet. It was delayed until October of this year. But when I was googling this morning apparently it's going to be more like the beginning of next year.

We were a few blocks away. Technically yes I could have walked closer but I don't know if the bad feelings would have got worse. I think they would have. When we were in public square I just kept looking at that building. It wasn't because oh that's really cool and it wasn't because that's really ugly. It was this is giving me bad vibes what the hell is going on.

I don't think it really contrasts with the terminal tower center. I think, in my opinion, it meshes well with the historic architecture that's in the photo. So it's not like I don't like the design. I think the only Cleveland building I do not like the design of is The Rock Hall. That is basically mostly because it is an absolute impractical shape for a museum as it greatly cuts into display space. I am not a fan of IM Pei.

I'm putting this about the Sherwin-Williams HQ and a separate post because if stars forbid something horrible happens to the building there is a record that it was giving me bad vibes on August 12th 2025.

The two photos I include in this post of the only two photos I took because I didn't even want to take photos. And once I post them I am seriously going to delete them from my phone. Yes that's nuts I admit it but just even looking at the photos there's just something not right. Now there was a parking lot that used to be there and I there were some other buildings. We used to park in the one parking lot it's not like something happened in that area it's I don't know it's the building. It is 100%, that building that is giving me bad vibes.

Had tickets to see Josh Johnson at Hilarities. He's a comedian who writes for the Daily Show and now sometimes hosts it. His shows are selling out everywhere across the country and the places he's gone in other countries. He did two shows Monday and then two shows last night, all sold out.

He posts a new set on YouTube every week on Tuesday night. I have no idea how he does it. He posted Monday night's Cleveland Show for last night Tuesday video. I haven't watched it yet. But here's the thing, from the title of it it's an entirely different show from the one we got last night. He doesn't have a teleprompter, he has no notes on stage, it's remarkable. He was offered a Netflix special and he refused it as he wanted to remain on YouTube so he'd be more accessible to more people.

Obviously he's really funny or I wouldn't have went to see him. He does a meet and greet, for free which needs to be pointed out since so many people charge for them nowadays, after the show. No one was rushed, he signed tickets or whatever anyone had. Someone was there to take the photos. Very gracious and humble.

Went with Eddie. We ate at Harry Buffalo and I have been craving a burger and it 100% hit the spot. Then we walked around to public square and there was probably an Instagram model as this woman was posing and there was a guy with professional camera equipment taking her photos. He actually had a harness with camera equipment.

Sherwin-Williams has built a new HQ downtown and I'm going to do a separate post on that because I want that to be standalone for reasons I will explain.

Needed to find something better than my usual today so I could wash it tomorrow. Discovered I still fit in size 6 bottoms just fine.

Frustratingly women's skirts/shorts don't have usable pockets. Like wtf?! I need pockets!! I need to have my eye drops, chapstick, handkerchief, & dry mouth gel. No, I've never had purse & never will. I don't understand how they work.

Think the skirt I found has decent pockets.
