The book shares the stories of four persons from Myanmar (formerly Burma) who personally encountered Jesus in the Buddha Belt (comprised of Thailand, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Tibet, and Bhutan that are dominated by the religion and culture of conservative Buddhism). The stories relate to the Jesus encounters of Aung (a former Buddhist monk), Bawi (a comfortable Christian), and two urban immigrants (Lin and Tha Gyi).Â
