Should have posted this last week.. But wanted to spread the good news..

I've been promoted at work!
Now a Department Manager, not just sector managing now. More hardcore. Payrise and longer hours - but thats okay, I can dig it.
People at work have responded to my title really nicely and respect what I say. I appreciate that, because they've been in the industry a lot longer than I have. I initially had it in mind that they would crack the shits about it and take any notice of me.
So I'm quiet happy about that. I had the meeting on my first day back at work after returning from Annual Leave. (I should go away more often) They realised what gets done and what doesn't while I'm not there... And recognised what I'm worth! Finally.

P.S - Healthy Eating going well so far.
For lunch yesterday I ate a Cucumber and Cheese sandwich....... Weird, I know - but wasn't bad!

Hey I'm back from England - and had a blast!
Thought I'd update and let you know I'm still around. Unfortunately for you :D

Stayed in London for a week, then coached it to Manchester. We stayed there for a couple of days then got our hire car - did a road trip, travelled through England, Scotland, back into England then Wales - then back to Manchester.

Edinburgh suprised me.. I actually didn't expect it to be as "metro" as it is. It's a lot like London, I scored some hot converse oldskool's from there :D

Wales is gorgeous, can't even describe the scenery. Not alot of do there, but if you love photography or just looking at beautiful things - GO THERE.

Now back to reality, go back to work on Thursday. I think I only just broke the jetlag this morning, which is a relief. So at the moment, I'm wondering around not knowing what to do with myself. I'd post pics but I can't be bothered uploading them onto photobucket. le sigh. (Well there are 1500+ of them)

Anyway, hope you're all doing well and stuff

Well, what can I say. I'm a complete and utter mess.
I can barely get through a day at work without feeling like I'm about to pass out.

This post is entirely to complain about how sick I am. Don't read it if you don't want to.

All this has been going on since LAST Saturday when I went out with Mick and his family to dinner. Ended up just making it back home that night to shove my head in the toilet bowl with not a second to spare.
Haven't felt right since.
Felt giddy and nauseaus as I had the weekend off - I thought that if I had Sunday to recover I'd be fine. But I was wrong. Monday rolled around - called in sick. The first time I have ever rang up work sick without even turning up to give it a try. Mick came with me to the doctor, she gave me nausea tablets and told me not to eat anything for 24 hours. Which was fine for me as I didn't want to eat. The thought of food disgusted me and unsettled my stomach, let alone putting the shit in my mouth and chewing on it.
Tuesday - Went home early and straight into bed as I had no energy.
Wednesday - Went home early and into bed again, energy level was worse.
Thursday - Called in sick again after coming so close to passing out on the tiled floor while trying to get ready for work. I was home alone, rang my mum and work in hysterics because I didn't want to faint and really hurt myself. Blubbering on the phone to one of my Superiors at work (Sharon) all I could say was that I was sorry and worried about the late night shopping shift. (Stayed in bed the entire day)
She could tell I was very sick by listening to me.
Thursday was the night I ate my first meal since going out to dinner. Bad huh. I had pasta and mum watched me eat every bite of it.
Friday - my RDO, spent the morning in bed again. Finally went back to the doctor and told her. She seemed concerned. Asked me if I was pregnant. I assured her it was impossible and she asked me a few questions. Turns out I seem to have a stomach infection however the alarming part is, I need to go back again on Monday to get blood tests.
Not just your everyday blood tests, I'm getting everything checked out. In a way I'm scared - but I know that I need to know what is wrong with me. A small part of me doesn't actually believe I have a stomach infection, I don't know why - I just feel that with the condition I'm in it's abit more than that. Perhaps a virus? Who knows.
The antibiotics I have to take is a joke. I have to take 8 tablets a day, no exaggeration. 4 in the morning and 4 at night, until they run out. I am praying she won't give me a repeat of them. I have my own little lunchbox that came with the tablets for me to keep them in. And my mum comes into my room and gives them to me, as if I'm an old person in a nursing home.
Went back to work today - still not feeling 100%. And the frustrating thing was I could feel my health deteriorating more and more through the day. I forced myself to eat, unfortunately it was Hungry Jacks. Ordered a Flame Grilled Chicken meal. Forced the burger down and threw my chips and drink out.
Got back to work, don't need to go into detail about what happened - but I was sick. Sat back at my desk, looking all flustered apparently and just sat there waiting for my energy to return.
It didn't.
The little bitch.
So yeah, again. Went home early - straight into bed I go. Waking up in time for my mums favourite meal - Tuna bake. Which I ate, but had to force myself to finish it. Feeling semi-okay so far.
My legs still feel hollow and I seriously look like a zombie. I want to go back to bed.

I'm kinda scared :/

I'm frustrated.

I'm hungry.

I'm bored.

So bored that I'm whinging about it on here.

My hairdresser is on Maternity Leave - and I have major trust issues with any random hairdresser to bleach my roots. Not that it's rocket science, I'm just a little bit funny on who I let do my hair - I'm scared they'll fry it. :/
So now I have dirty regrowth, it looks tacky. D:

I've been sick. Yes again. I honestly think this is the 6th time I've had a cold this year? A little bit over it now. I've been going to work looking and feeling like DEATH - couldn't go home because it was Spring Clearance Weekend.

When I first felt like shit, people at work would wave it off "Oh it's smokers cough"
"Oh REALLY. What was THAT? A FUCKING SMOKERS SNEEZE?!"
I was cashiering, I served over 500 customers each day and managed to be nice to every single customer - which I was quite proud of. Even though at one stage I had to walk away from a customer to blow my nose, I worked like a fucking troopa man.

Hmm. What to do about my hair..
So tempted to go back to brunette so I don't have to worry about it.

While I've been sick, I have done absoloutely nothing on my days off. I've been downloading music constantly and just resting. The music however... Well, I'm not sure if it's doing anything for my health. It's all been stuff from the 80's early 90's. I'm talking Roxette, The Cure, Guns N Roses, INXS.

And I don't think there would be anything worse than seeing a girl with bad regrowth, with the flu singing 'Take My Breath Away' while reaching for tissues reading other peoples LJ's.
No wonder mum TOLD me to get my hair done today.

Thanks to listening to fat Elvis sing 'I did it My Way' - I think I'm going to go get a greasy lunch and watch The Wog Boy.

It hasn't been a very productive week for me..
In fact, I've been in one huge daze since the weekend. Alot of it has been about people telling me what happened at my party, which has been funny. I've never not remembered things before - but I definitely know I had a good time, I need to catch up on sleep :(

One of the guys from work organised with ANOTHER guy from work to bring his camera to the party, lucky he did - nobody else remembered! Anyway, caught up with him yesterday and he put them onto my thumbdrive. Yes yes, I have a geeky USB thumbdrive :/ I need it for work because I do all the signage and shit like that :( ANYWAY.

They look terrible.

You know when you look through magazines such as WHO or NW and you see Anna Nicole Smith or Sienna Miller looking absoloutely/hideously drunk?

That's me.

And I'm not trying to sound up myself, but I did actually look kind of decent when I was sober. BUT THEN, Mishella decides to get trashed from Malibu, Tequila, Bourbon and whatever else people were buying me before Krishan arrives with the camera :~( Ah well.
I was thinking, I want to have a Hawaiian dress up party in the Summer, it sucks to have your Birthday in July because your plans revolve around the stupid weather. You can't even have a BBQ without fearing Mother Nature and her fuckups :/

Day off work today, been sitting at home doing absoloutely nothing. I had this big idea to drive to the Italian Deli - but alas, couldn't be bothered. Instead I am sitting here, eyes glazed over - yawning every 10 minutes with a phat 80's headband which makes me look like I have a blonde birds nest on my head.

The highlight of my day so far, has been calling up the internet provider. Being the ditzy bitch I am (SOMETIMES.) I needed to ask why my email account wouldn't accept my password. He almost sounded cute until I realised who I had called and thought 'nuhuh'

I think it's quite clear that I have nothing inparticular to write about, I'm just bored. quando quando quando...

So much has been going on within the last 2 weeks. It's revolved around my friends, myself - and our love lives. With ALL of us combined there has been PLENTY of gossip, plenty of politics, plenty of tears, gossip and worst of all - regret. Hence my loving shoutout to the girls in my last post. By the way, Lisa - I'm glad everything worked out. :) I hope everything works out for the rest of us now.

From now on, when I see photos like below - I'm going to add in a caption. This one of me - is what I was actually saying at the time. Why it's called a random moment? BECAUSE I DON'T FUCKING REMEMBER MUCH ELSE.

Last night was my birthday party at Bar 333 and I had such a good time. I have never been so drunk in my life. Seriously.
Quite a good turn out of guests, everyone mingled really well - so of course I was happy with that.
Funny enough though, I was late to my own birthday party (I'm late everywhere) Nobody seemed suprised, which I don't think was such a great thing - now that I think of it :/ lol
I've heard that majority of everyone are hung over today, so I think my mission for everyone to have a good time was accomplished. Not that I really had to do anything to make that happen...

Of course there were the few minor hiccups every now and then, but thats okay. I don't feel like writing about them at the moment, maybe another time.
I also had a few tactless moments.. There were two brothers at my party, I work with one of them but I don't know him overly well. Me being the smooth person I am (yeah bullshit) decides to announce infront of his brother and friends that he was the hotter one :/ (Could be worse I suppose, but still pretty bad considering I had literally just been introduced to them) I'm as subtle as a sledgehammer :(

Thanks to Ryan and his friends who by the end of the night gave me jackets and water to keep me warm and dehydrated. lol Also thanks to Lisa who drove the girls in for the party and rescuing my guy friends from sloppy drunk/horny girls (who weren't apart of my function) I'm sure they'll thank you again when they see you next. hehe
Now I officially feel 24! Even though my birthday was last Thursday, celebrating how my friends and I did last night was excellent. Being surrounded by a massive group of people showing you how much they care is a beautiful thing, also good for the ego of course. ;)

Actually come to think of it, a certain someone was meant to have gotten me a present. Hmm, he's probably went and had it refunded now :P Although Mary made a good point though, he DID come - and could have easily gotten out of it if he wanted to. Things still arent good between us atm.

Because I don't cry much at all, everyone was wondering wtf was wrong with me and asking if I was going to be sick. Until I smiled at them and said "I'M GOING TO GO AND SEE BOYZ II MEN" Then they would just give me a confused smile and pretend to understand.

Speaking of Meli, I'm assuming she had a good night. Most of the girls ended up scoring numbers which is what I like to hear! GO TEAM * random made up gang sign*

Just got off the phone to Lisa, had a good chat about everything sifnt you rock my world bebbe! So glad I have you for a friend, your friendship and guidance really means alot to me.

It's good to be reminded of how much your friends mean to you. I used to be the type that wouldn't show much affection to anything or anyone. But I'm growing out of that little character trait and I think my friends appreciate it much more too. As much as I love the guys for buying shitloads of drinks and getting me pretty much wasted within the first hour of my party - it's the close friendships I have with girls like Meli, Lisa, Jade and Lee who make me who I am today.

Hi, hope everyone is going well. Not that much going on, just bored at the moment. Although I do need to vent, so here goes.

I think the most fucked up thing is when you bump into an ex, and they say (in not so many words) they're with someone and they're treating them better than they ever treated you. All you can do is nod, smile - pretend you're happy for them.. You know, all that polite shit, just whatever you do - don't give a reaction because it would look like you care - which you actually don't. It's just a competitive thing, the angered thoughts of "you were an arsehole with me, but now you're an angel with some new chick? get fucked."

I'm really blonde. REALLY - BLONDE. Barbie blonde even. It's..... different, a lot of people like it.. I had it done nearly a week ago and I'm still getting a suprise whenever I see it in a mirror!

Oh, I kind of got promoted at work, slowly working my way up the ladder - which is cool. More responsibility and stress, but I guess I'll have to deal with it.
Meli and I are planning our little getaway to Melbourne soon. It will be awesome, I can't wait. I really like Melbourne, I'd love to stay there for like 6 months and rent an apartment - just to see if I like it enough to live there one day. Sydney is beautiful and it will always be home, but Melbourne has got the different atmosphere and lifestyle that I really like. Not to mention the guys there are pretty easy on the eye :P We'll only be going for a 3 days weekend, during that I will get to meet up with a close friend of mine which will be fantastic :) Hopefully I'll be hooking Meli up with a goodlooking boy I know there too :D *nudges Mel*

I don't really think there is much else to update? By the way, goodluck with the birth Sammy (due today) You'll be a great mummy <3 Make sure you immediately get somebody to tell us on IRC that you've had fergus - so we all have an appropriate excuse to go and drink hehe
