Uhhh, here's.. a tutorial for making family photos totally awesome?

Go from to in Photoshop.

Base picture. Works well with over-red pictures.
1. duplicate the base layer [rightclick layer, select duplicate] on softlight 100%
2. new layer. fill with #060b72, set it on exclusion 100%
3. duplicate the base again, stick it on softlight 61%
4. make a new color balance adjustment layer [layer > adjustment layer > color balance]
shadows -15 +3 -25
midtones -71 -15 +13
highlights +10 +5 -4
set the layer to 69% opacity.
5. press ctrl+a (select all.) go to edit>copy merged. paste. make edits to blemishes/oversaturated areas with clone and sponge brushes (optional.) set the layer on pin light 100%.
6. make a new selective color adjustment layer
reds: +12 -78 -19 +6
yellows: -39 +22 -100 +41
magentas: -10 +72 +33 +11
whites: +56 -22 0 -52
neutrals: +23 +9 0 0
blacks: 0 +2 0 +7
7. if you like, make a new color layer and paint over the eyeballs with a dark shade of the color of the person's eyes

100 variations claim

.hack//G.U. - general

1-10: Use only the original images, changing the color only and nothing else. Color each icon differently, using different color fill layers or adjustment layers. No textures, gradients, brushes, or stock images allowed.

11-20: Every icon must have readable text on it. You may not re-use fonts - each icon must use a different font. Do not use fonts that are excessively popular right now.

21-30: Use a texture on every icon. A different texture must be used on each icon.

31-40: Every icon must use a stock photo. These can be found on different sites throughout the web. Please refrain from using clouds in every single icon :].

41-50: Each icon has to be rotated from the original base. Flip it, rotate everything clockwise, counterclockwise. Be creative!

51-60: Images must be black and white, absolutely no colors. Grayscale is acceptable.

61-70: On each icon, use one effect feature from the Effects menu in your Photoshop or Paintshop.

71-80: Every icon must be less than 100x100 pixels. (the sides must be uneven, like circles or rectangles or other strange shapes)

81-90: Every icon must use one popular icon trend that is hot at the time. This changes frequently but it will be easy since you see these trends everywhere (check out icon_tutorial - usually these icons are all trendy)

91-100: These icons are all Artist's Choice! Do anything you'd like with these last ten!
