¤ Believe it or not, most of this is from a marathon iconing session. A few things were just hanging out on my comp, but for the most part they were created over the last few days! D=

¤ I stumbled on Meomi completely on accident and I am in love. What a talented duo! And they designed the mascots for the next Winter Olympics. Check out their site!

I made a Pickles the Frog banner for a Vox journal, but it can be used for LJ as well.

The banner is 940 pixels by 200 pixels. It's saved as a .png. You're free to use it as long as you save it to your own image host! If you try to hotlink this one, you'll just get an ugly blinking icon instead, so host it in photobucket or something. You can see it in action on my vox account.

There's plenty of Pickles icons to go with this too. ^_^

¤ This is a sort of random note, but lately there have been a lot of people villifying iconists who use fanart in their icons. I do use some fanart in my icons. It's pretty. I don't intend to stop, but I will try to provide a source/credit when I do so. And on that note, the reason I ask for credit is not for recognition so much as the name being a sort of tracking point. Someone who sees an icon I made that is credited can then track me down and see all of my icons. It's less about attention and more about sharing. And those are my thoughts on iconing ^_^;;

Wallpaper

Lately I've been making a few more trips into the wonderful world of wallpaper. I'm not very good at it, but it's interesting to try. I have three new ones hiding under the cut.

Also, just wanted to let you know that I'm moving. I do have a few icons made and may update before I move, but if not, I'll probably be MIA for a few weeks. Moving can be sticky business.

Site Update!

After having that long period of computer trouble and such, I've finally gotten back to my own computer where I can do full updates. Yay! So the site is now updated. New layout. All the new icons are up. The template zip files are up. The brush files are fixed. Go take a peek!

Dead Computer

I think it's worth a mention that my computer is dead. Dead as in the computer men kept it for almost a month and finally told me they couldn't fix it. It's not my regular computer, it was my travel laptop, but seeing as I'm on vacation, that means I can't do anything until I get back home in another month or so. Well, it took me a while what with my computer hating me and melting cords and a lot of work and such, but I have gotten Mint Tea 95% up. Yeah, there's still a few things I need to mess with, but the most important things are up. The icons, wallpaper, tutorials, paintbrushes and links are up. I'm working on getting the template zip files and other stuff up, but that's work for another day. I've decided that I'll only put the templates up as zip files right now. If you desperately want them loose, let me know and I'll think about it. Anyway, since it's a new site, I've yet to set up hotlinking protection. I'll fix that in a bit, but for now, hotlink and DIE! Ok, not die, but I'll be quite angry. You want an image host, go to Photobucket.

Wow, there's a lot of drama going on in my Friends list! I just felt like doing that where I have a big friends list ^_^*

Anyway, I'm slowly putting Mint Tea back up. It's taking a while because I'm taking my time and reorganizing everything. Before I had alllllll of my icons in one big folder and now I'm splitting them up into categories and such and it's a little time consuming and tedious, but it's something that I have decided to do. Let's face it, I make way too many icons for my own good -_- Hopefully within the next day or two, things will be up and running. I'll let you guys know. Good News!

I have good news! My contract with my old web server is up. So for my birthday, I got myself a new plan with a new host. Good price, nice and big. I've started setting things up there. I'm going to do a lot of reorganization, but Mint Tea should be back up in full pretty soon! Thank you to everyone who donated money a few months back, it really made all the difference. I'll let you know when the site is back up on its feet, but until then, stay tuned! ^_^!

Vacation!

I probably should have mentioned this earlier, but I've gone on vacation. Well, it's more like I packed up my bags and moved states (don't ask). So now I am on a very unreliable laptop with no mouse, only the silly touchpad. This makes icon making a bit more difficult. That isn't to say I've stopped, it's just a pain in the butt so I have to be very inspired to do any icons ^_^* So, things will be slow around here. I'll still take the occasional request and toss up some new icons, but not with the same frequency. Here's one I made a while ago. Not so sure about the colors (did I mention this laptop is unreliable?) but then again, Once Upon a Time in Mexico had some oddly lit scenes that makes iconage a little difficult (that I've found). But here's an icon!
