The theme this year was "Memory", and there are a few ways this can be interpreted. shati . I loved the vid, and even though the mix Shati used was mostly "Complicated" by Avril Lavigne, this song gave me all the same feels. Thankfully, Shati didn't think it was a horrible, terrible idea and please see her vid because it is wonderful.
It also reminded me of the many many years where I vidded Buffy exclusively, with heavy emphasis on Buffy/Faith. I based the title sequence on my "Don't Cha/Seether" Buffy/Faith vid (good call, Yomz!) because... more memory!
I was honestly shocked at how big of a reaction this vid got at the con. I expect that femslash folks would like it, but the positive reaction was a very pleasant surprise. I guess I was not the only one missing the glory days of Buffy/Faith vids.
