<lj:music>Bjork "Biophilia"</lj:music>

So I'm joining the hoards that are trying to revive LJ again! Yay!!! Admittedly I do miss blogging on here, even if I'm too busy to really keep up with it and everyone on my flist. :C Even now I'm typing this up on notepad at work so that it doesnt look obvious that I'm blogging on LJ. xD

Ummm, what's new? Nothing much I guess. I do nothing but work work work work. ;x The usual, I guess. When I'm not at work, I'm working on my Java homework or other projects for different people, or my grad applications. Fun life, huh? xD

My car got stolen last week. xD Crazy stuff. But the police found it on the same day (good going San Diego police!), so it was ALMOST in one piece. When I recovered it on the weekend, it was missing its right rear wheel and my boots in the back trunk. :( But hey, at least now I don't have to buy a new car!!! :)

On more depressing news, Disney rejected me for their product design intern. :( I'm pretty bummed, but only because I would've loved working for a big company like Disney. Otherwise it was in a totally different direction than I would've liked....I really really really dislike doing product design. :S Like, bedsheets and packaging and ugh. It just sounds like a headache for me. xD I guess I'm really more of a web and UI girl at heart.

It's just depressing since, after I got the job with Mitchell, the whole year has been a string of really exciting possibilities and heart breaking rejections. :( Probably the worst was Yelp, I was really amped for that and it was the perfect internship. The rest just sort of weighs down on me too, like Flickr, ScrollMotion, Disney, Hulu....they were all such disappointing rejections. And now I'm scared it's just going to be that; series and strings of rejections over and over and over again. I keep telling myself that I just need to make more high-quality works and that they were all pretty big companies anyways...but rejection is awful no matter what direction of optimism you take. ~__~;;

I'm living in a land of painful mediocrity... ;~;

At least work got a Lynda.com account, so I can secretly steal some video tutorials and resources. xD

Otherwise things are good! I've been becoming more and more engrossed with the tech world as of late, learning more about the different products and OS's that are popular right now. (Which is why there's an increased stream of hate for the elitist and painfully-difficult-to-work-with iOS comments and anti-SteveJobs comments on Twitter.)

For those who don't know, AppendixSquared is back up live! I would love it if you guys could spare the time to pimp it out or whore it out to any other designers or casual art-makers you know. And I'm planning a revamp of my portfolio, since there's a million bad practices going on in there. There are a few new things, but not a whole lot other than what I add in from work.

How's life for you folks?
Ok so I had my Yahoo/Flickr phone call yesterday which ended up alright I guess. I have to wait a few days to hear back but I'm not too hopeful. (Although he was EXTREMELY fascinated by my mobile game mockups. Wao!)

The Yelp phone call was today. It was actually funny because the guy clearly did not want to be doing these interviews and he sounded pretty bored to be dealing with me. Maybe it's because I ALREADY MADE IT THROUGH TO THE SECOND ROUND!!! fffffffff so excited! The phone call wasn't even necessary, the UI Manager had already looked through my stuff and liked my background. Whee!

I have to do some design exercises now though. I'm technically not allowed to say, but it involves redesigning a Yelp page for the best usability possible.

I'd be more excited if I wasn't already swamped with my GRE's in a week and my Java homework due on Sunday. :|

Sob.

I've got a phone interview(screening? idk) with Flickr/Yahoo tomorrow for a User Experience Designer.

I'm too underqualified for such a job. D: I barely have formal UI training. I barely have a year of professional experience (not including random freelancing). All I can think about is how they're going to ask me some srs questions and realize I'm still just a kid.

AND on Wednesday I've got another interview(screening? i never know) with Yelp for a User Interface intern.

I'm a little more qualified for that, but I can't help but think that it's just another false lead. ~___~ Or that it's going to be Hulu all over again.

The only bright side to this is that they're at least calling me.
COMIC CON 2011

WAS SO GOOOOOOOODDDDD!!!

This is just a post to remember what happened throughout the days. I don't want to be forgetting.

Preview Night: Archie and Dinosaur Comics
I got wicked lost trying to find parking at a trolley stop. XD I ended up BARELY making it to the lines at 8:00 when they close at 8:30! Luckily everyone had already filed in, so I was in and out pretty fast.

In the exhibition hall, I was wandering around when I ran into the ARCHIE booth. Victor Gorelick (the editor in chief of Archie since ALWAYS) was there and I was FREAKING OUT. Like literal fangirling, it was almost embarrassing. XD I ended up buying the best of Archie from all the years and another graphic novel. Victor Gorelick ended up signing my Best Of copy and taking a photo with me. :3 I think I freaked him out a bit though. :\

After that I was looking around when I realized that they were selling DINOSAUR COMIC WHITEBOARDS, and I knew I *had* to buy it for Trevor. I looked up and...LO AND BEHOLD RYAN NORTH, the creator of Dino Comics, was standing RIGHT there. I had another stupid fangirl moment and had him sign the board for Trev, but god I'm so embarrassing. XD Gotta keep myself in check.

I only had an hour until they closed, but I wandered around everywhere anyways. I was tempted to buy the entire Bone collection and get Jeff Smith to sign it, but it was a hefty $40. ~__~

I did buy *some* comics, but not a whole lot. I knew Gabriel Ba and Fabio Moon had a booth, so I ended up buying Daytripper from a stall and holding onto it since I knew I'd run into them later on. That's about it for my Preview Night hour. D:

Thursday: Wilfred and Daytripper
I had to work half of the day. ~__~a I didn't want to end up losing TWO whole days worth of money, so I gritted my teeth through it. I wanted to get to Archer by 4:00pm, but I arrived JUST exactly at that time. There was no way I was going to make it inside too. XD So Trevor and I met up and started walking around. I got Fabio Moon and Gabriel Ba to sign my Daytripper copy, so that was neat!

We then went to go see the Wilfred panel. TBH I like Wilfred alright, the humor can get a little too vulgar and obvious for me, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE ELIJAH WOOD and I was FREAKING OUT that he was right there in front of me. The panel got kinda boring kinda fast after they aired an ep though, so we peaced out.

It was getting kinda late (~7pm?) and so we grabbed dinner and wandered around Gaslamp to see what was happening. Cartoon Network had this really neat promo where they took a pizza place (Ciro's) and turned it into an Adventure Time pizza parlor. They also had people with TV's attached to their backs to be placeholders for people in line. AND giant versions of the characters running around downtown San Diego screaming "WHAT TIME IS IT?!" It was great. XD

Friday: Junko Mizuno, Robot Chicken, and SMBC
I showed up at 8am to get in line for pre-reg tickets but they were already SOLD OUT. Apparently they start lining up for them at 5am. ~__~;;

Got in line for Ballroom 20 in order to see The Walking Dead, but the line was so insane that I literally had to give up as soon as it was 10 minutes before. (I wasn't even IN the building!!!)

I did get to see JUNKO MIZUNO though!!! *O * I had her sign my "Little Gigolo Pelu" book and sketch for me in my moleskine! I also ran over to see the dudes from SMBC and had them all sketch for me too. XD (It was a phase, what can I say?) I was really amped to get the writer and artists for Fables to sign my crap, so Trevor got in line for Robot Chicken and I waited for Fables creators to make my day. I've already met Bill Willingham and Steve Leialoha, but Mark Buckingham was new for me and he was SUPER nice! They all signed my Fables #106 and my moleskine!

Robot Chicken was pretty funny. They all just made fun of each other and were really chill. We were there for Black Dynamite too, which was really funny in its own different way. But Trev and I were totally there for Robot Chicken. :3

After that we wandered around some more. I tried to refrain from buying too many things, but I did get a book that helped me start up my freelancing career as a designer, so that was neat! 30% off too! :'D

Saturday: Futurama, Simpsons, Family Guy, Fables
This time I left at 4:30am to get in line at like, 5:30am. XD I totally made it in though, so I'm officially pre-registered for Comic Con 2012! SCHWEET.

Anyways, right after that I tried to get in line for Ballroom 20 again, and luckily it wasn't so bad. (I got out of line for pre-reg at around 9am.) So Trev and I got into the panels for TerraNova, some new dinosaur-colony-whatever tv show that honestly looked a little dumb. XD

We got to stick around for Futurama, which was funny. They previewed their anime episode, and Matt Groening + artist for Futurama ended up battling it out to see who drew the best Bender. After that was Simpsons, which was surprisingly funny despite no actors or no clips or....anything really. :S Family Guy was pretty good, especially when they started asking the sign-language translator to translate a bunch of dirty words. XD (Seth Green = dirty floppy hobo penis; Alex Borstein = bull shit).

We hung out at the exhibition hall a little more after that. Just looking at everything else we didn't get to look at already.

We got in line early for Fables, as I anticipated that it would get packed sooner than later. Got to see panels for Jim Lee and Jonathan Hickman, but omg FABLES was so good! They always do this thing where they ask for random ass things that no one would normally have, and if you have it they give you awesome presents. One question was really hard, where you had to name all of the lands that Boy Blue visited in the Homelands. They had taken it out of the wiki's and stuff, so you had to look it up through other means. The winner got a real working horn with the case signed by ALL OF THE FABLES PEOPLE. ALL OF THEM. ALL!!!!!! EVEN THE SPINOFFS!!!! AUGHHHHH anger!

The worst part is I actually had that graphic novel, but I left it at home. ~__~ I'm retarded.

Sunday: Buying Stuff
We had a slightly late day since we were pretty beat up. No panels today. I just went through the exhibit hall buying some discounted books (illustrated Ramayana, by the guy who does Pixar art) and getting things signed. (Return of the Dapper Men!)

I also ran into Doc Hammer, the creator of Venture Bros and had him take a pic + sign my moleskine. He was totally cracked out though. XD

And that was Comic-Con! Can't wait til next year!!!

I just got e-mailed to arrange a phone interview to be the Ad Sales Graphic Designer for Hulu.

My life just got fast and wild pretty quickly.

BUT

Trevor is coming back to San Diego from June-December to work for Intuit, and the Hulu internship is most likely from June-Sept. ;~; I was really looking forward to him coming back to Southern California and being with him all half-year. Hoooooooo~

But my career must comes first. ~__~ I'll try to see him on the weekends if Hulu gives me an offer. :C The headquarters are in LA, so it's not THAT far away... /superemo

On another note, cloverbooks looks fun, I wish I had signed up. Kings of Leon, really? Kanye?!?!? ARCADE FIRE?! Three headliners of serious BLECH. Even the subheadliners are slightly underwhelming. And the undertitled bands? They're...ok I guess. From what I've heard from a lot of them, it seems like blended hipstertrash music that will attract a lot of hipstertrash bros who will snort coke and go party like they could've done if they were in the middle of their rented flat and a stereo system.

The bands I would see skim the amount of 15. Not bad, right? However, the bands I've already seen in the past 2 hours reduces the bands I would see down to....hmm 6 bands. Wow. $300 for 6 bands huh? Sounds like a grand time, Coachellie.

For the sake of being pissy about this horrifying lineup, let me demonstrate and comment on how GREAT Coachella used to be, catering to a really great indie and low-ground alt rock music. Yes, this used to be a rock festival. Who would've thought.

My year last year. Not too bad. I got to see a lot of good bands, and I didn't have time for all the ones I wanted to see, like Dirty Projectors, Beach House (who I got to see later on anyways so no biggie), Fever Ray, and Yo La Tengo. So really the bands I saw were the ones I really have never seen before and wouldn't tour too often again. The headliners were alright. Gorillaz was a THRILL.

Seriously, AMAZING. Paul McCartney?! A FUCKING BEATLE CAME TO PLAY AT COACHELLA. AWESOME! Despite only going on Sunday out of Yeah Yeah Yeahs bias, the other two days had SO many better bands that I would've kicked a baby for a free 3 day pass. I mean, jesus, THE CURE. These people made HISTORY IN MUSIC. (Ok, not so much The Killers....) Fuck son, I would kick a baby just to see Morrissey live. :x This was seriously the best lineup since 2007.

Meh. Oh I'm sorry, was I supposed to give a fuck about Jack Johnson? Not a 12 year old girl. :< I have to give this year props for having really good undertitle bands though. But to be fair, EVERY COACHELLA LINEUP SHOULD HAVE A GREAT UNDERTITLE LINEUP. Although for this year, I would have been fine to have left out Sunday entirely. Maybe Sat too. Hmm...

And now I present to you, the golden year of 2007. The best year, IMO, to have existed in the past years that I have been aware of Coachella. Bjork. Red Hot Chili Peppers. I mean, jesus christ they have Jesus and Mary Chain (hurr hurr) and fucking SONIC YOUTH playing in ONE GOD DAMN DAY. WITH BJORK. These people renovated the image of rock music...and music as a whole! Even on Sat the undertitles are so so soooooooooooo good. Sure Sunday is a bit lacking, but it has been the best Sunday set I've ever seen. THIS WAS JUST...THE BEST YEAR FOR COACHELLA HANDS DOWN

Very very very good set. They really balanced out having majority of the bands be rock bands and then inject in some electro and pop\twee bands, which I believe should be every lineup composition. Clap Your Hands, Imogen Heap, Test Icicles, Mates of State, and dude....SECRET MACHINES. I would love to see them play again!!!

So that's the end of my rant. My general conclusion is thus;

Kings of Leon? Arcade Fire? Kanye? Sure the latter two are groundbreaking I guess, but they're sharing a stage once occupied by Paul McCartney, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bjork, and jesus THE CURE. These guys were such markers in music, and they definitely don't deserve it.

Not to mention that a lot of undertitle bands seem to be sort of hipster-trashy music rather than the classic indie rock/pop/folk that used to be so instrumental and thrilling to hear. I'm seriously disappoint. I theorized that Coachella would sell out at some point and just stat catering towards some younger 15-year old themed crowd, and you know what.....I was right.

/rant over

So that last kitty was totally adopted THE MORNING BEFORE we got to go check it out. So she was bought out about 4 hours before we got to even go see her. :( Bummer.

But then we started playing with the other kittens....and adopted this adorable orange maine coon mix. :D (Michael and I were very specific when we said we wanted a Maine Coon mix!) I'm in love with him, he's the sweetest tiniest thing.

Ok so here are the names... XD

FINCH - As in, Atticus Finch. My favouritest protagonist from none other than To Kill A Mockingbird. :) I've always told myself I'd name my child Atticus one day, so this was the next best step.

PHOENIX - I thought it was appropriate cause he's a red kitty. :D

RENARD - French for "fox"! It'd be shortened to "Ren" perhaps, but it's also the name of a very cute fox in Fables. :p

KITSUNE - Japanese for "fox"! Shortened to "Kit".

ZISSOU - Named after Steve Zissou from The Life Aquatic of Steve Zissou. I just thought it'd be cute because the name is quirky and I love Wes Anderson. XD

View Poll: kitty names part 2

♪ Ok so I'm giving GameStop my two weeks notice. I haven't been working there very long, like 6 months really, but I think it's about time I throw the towel in. It's not like I was bad at selling the stuff there, I just stopped liking the whole work environment and it was originally just a fun temp job anyways. I originally planned on working there until January, and now here I am an extra 4 months later. XD Plus it doesn't help that I don't really dig my manager. D: But I'm going to miss everyone. T_T

♪ I'm on Chapter 13 of FF XIII!!! I seriously can't wait for this game to be over, there's very little I like about this game. @_@

♪ So I got a PSP! I actually picked it up some time ago, but I got a really good slew of games to play with. :) Right now I'm skimming through Dissidia, Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf Valley, and Brave Story, although I have a good selection of other games like God of War and Crisis Core. (CAN'T WAIT FOR KINGDOM HEARTS!) I even got a Hello Kitty hard case for it!

♪ My camera died...but my friend is helping me deal with a photoshoot this Saturday so it should be really fun and cool. :) I get to style it and direct it myself!

♪ SUMMER is going to be AWESOME!!! Stars concert on June 22nd, my birthday. 21st Birthday Vegas Trip on fourth of July weekend, most expenses paid by my uncle. Distant Worlds Final Fantasy Symphony on July 22nd. Comic Con on that weekend. I'm actually aiming for New York again this September, but it seems very unlikely. :|

So how are YOU guys?!

Was greaaaat.

Didn't shower for 3 days. Ended up washing off my bodysweat and hair with water bottles cause the lines for showers took 4 hours. Lines to get to the grocery store took 2 hours, and we all woke up like clockwork at 8am because the heat in the tent got INSANE.

The bands I saw this weekend:

Sleigh Bells (DISAPPOINTMENT MUCH? Especially Hot Chip and Gorillaz. *o* I stayed at the outdoor theater for 5 hours in order to be as close as I was for Hot Chip. D: But it was well worth it! I was maybe only 3 rows of people away from the front. For Gorillaz, there's a open-space partition for the pit and for the general audience, and I got to the VERY front of the general audience. (Which was only maybe like...30 feet away from stage?) It was great...the two best shows I saw would be Vampire Weekend and Gorillaz. Vampy Weekend just had amazing energy, and Gorillaz...well....do I really have to explain?

You can check out my public facebook album here, and currently no videos...but if you guys want I could post the youtube links later on. <lj:music>Oren Lavie - Her Morning Elegance</lj:music>

But not the FULL ending.

So I've decided, although this has been a semi-long time coming, to partially close down my Livejournal. BUT NO JUMPING TO CONCLUSIONS, this doesn't mean I'm making one of those "Hai i'm leaving forever kay?" type of things. I'll definitely be around to catch up with you folks through your journals. I'll put up the rare post here and there for fun-time purposes. But basically everything I consider really really personal, or like in-depth discussions on my life will be excluded. Occasional picture-spam post may ensue, since I've wanted a record of how my room looks for a while and of course I gotta put up the Coachella post of awesomeness.

Yeah. Large blurb of text done. I'm PARTIALLY leaving LJ, in the sense that it's no longer a public or friends-only journal. (Private only, I'm now writing purely for myself.) I'll comment on my friends list and whatnot. http://www.livejournal.com/update.bml

Here's a brief summary and finale of all the shit going down with me!

Not a whole lot happening that's worth mentioning. Waiting with extreme anticipation for Coachella, Comic-Con, Georgia Spring Break trip, and possibly New York again if I'm able to head out for Fashion's Night Out.

Been reading a lot of vintage fashion books I checked out from the library. It's so amazing to go through everything! I already had a fashion through the century book, which is where I learned about the iconic Balenciaga and Christian Dior looks, but getting a wider range of different looks and designers can be exciting.

School is fantastic-ish. Been BUSY, since school takes up most of my day. (A short day for me goes from 12pm-5:30pm!) I'm really enjoying my French Film class though. I'm just aching for more films that we sample though, so I'm out to download Cleo from 5-7, Parapluies de Cherbourg, and Alphaville. I'm finding that the New Wave movement in cinema is definitely my favourite!

Speaking of French stuff, I'm signing for info sessions on how to get started on a program abroad. Since I know a very bit amount of French, I figured I could use that knowledge boost and head out to study in FRANCE!

The biggest thing in my life right now is to save up money for a major huge investment next year. What, you may ask? A teacup pig!!! Yes yes yes, my first pet and it will be something I've been wanting for years and years and years. Now that I have my own place and my own independence, I figured now would be a good time to finally get one. I probably won't get it until next year when spring brings in another litter of piglets to choose from, but it gives me ample time to save up money for the potential $1000 investment in the pig and supplies to take care of it.

Speaking of spending money...which is something I'm mostly swearing off for the sake of my future beloved pig...I had a thrilling Thrift+SwapMeet Extravaganza. For about $55 I got....

- Vintage white beaded gloves
- Vintage floral negligee-minidress
- High waisted navy skirt
- Navy-striped boat necked shirt
- Vintage gold buttons
- Framed Alphonse Mucha print
- Vintage woven tapestry purse
- Vintage gold jewelry box
- Vintage blue pleated blouse
- Vintage navy-inspired romper
- Wooden jewelry box for necklaces
- Pressed flowers in glass
- Two wooden-box wall decorations with flowers
- Vintage copy for the Rubaiyat, which I've been waiting to read for FOREVER!
O hai guys Coachella lineup came out

DID I MENTION THAT I'M GOING TO ALL THREEEEEE DAYS!?!?!?!

Omg it will be so great. I'm car camping out there. 100+ degree weather. Smelly people. Public showers. It'll be everything I want and more.

There are a lot of bands I want to see. After making a list and counting, there will be a total of about 40 bands I'm aching to see this year.

Watched Tom Ford's "A Single Man". It's BEAUTIFUL and amazing. The period pieces make me wish I was growing up in the late 50's-60's-early 70's.

I'm thinking of setting up a photospam post of my room and other whatnots happening. Yay!

    <lj:music>The Maccabees - Toothpaste Kisses</lj:music>

It's been quite some time since I last updated! A few weeks actually....

Hope you all had a great holiday season and a happy start to your new year! Sorry I haven't really been around, I've just been preoccupied for the most part. XD

In short, the time I've been away has been occupied with good music, good food, school, videogames, and just...life I suppose.

Christmas has been good to me. I got about $250 in cash, $25 Target gift card, a sweater that I actually would wear, a sweater I don't care for but appreciate the sentiment, Peter & Max the Fables novel, a bow necklace, a knitted bib necklace, and...wait for it...the Urban Decay Hall of Fame makeup kit. *o*!!! If you guys know me, I have been a rabid Urban Decay makeup fan for years and glowed when I first saw the Nude Cowboy lipstick alongside their Skyscraper Mascara and super huge Eyeshadow Primer. (Not to mention the gloss and the 24/7 Glide Eyeliner.)

New Years has been nice too. I had a uber delightful dinner that I may never have again. It was so...lush! *o* A table of 11 came out to cost around $1100!!! I had a lobster bisque, filet mignon, salad, creme brulee, and bites of carpaccio, oysters, escargo, and beet salad. The best part was when the two $150 bottles of wine started being passed around. Caymus vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. *O*!!!! I'm a big wine person, and was so excited to try this absolutely smooth red wine with my food. Alongside a countdown with champagne and good people...I'd say it was a great night!

Other than those festivities, it has been a good few weeks. Gamestop let go of their Holiday Hires and I was kept on board. (To my chagrin or delight? That's still left up in the air...) Finally finished Persona 4 with a Normal ending, but decided to move on to Tales of the Abyss. I also started playing Fallout 3, even though Lost Odyssey is lonely. New Years resolution? FINISH ALL MY VIDEOGAMES GUH.

Got a new phone! A red Samsung Flight! To be honest, it's really kind of ugly, but I love it compared to my old crappy phone. :D I've already got James Jean wallpapers set up, music thrown in, and custom ringtones for all the important people in my life. It's really awesome to have a phone that can do all of this and not cost me an extra $30 a month. XD

New music has entered my life as well. XD I won't really mention what, since I've told myself to stop hyping bands up...but it's clear which songs have been taking over my life from LastFM. Also can't wait for Coachella! I want to go to 3 days, but I have to see who else is willing to pay $300 and camp out with me in Indio. It's...a really really exhausting experience. @_@

I got the a-ok to go out for Spring Break! For the first few days I'll be in Northern California (around the San Fran area?), and then I fly out from San Jose to visit GEORGIAA. Sounds ridiculous to vacation there, but there's going to be a really neat She & Him concert there that I'm absolutely thrilled about! ZOOEY DESCHANEL?! Yessss.

My general resolution for this year is to get stuff done. Basically things like start interning, get more involved with my magazines (Fashion Quarterly and The Scene), finish all my videogames, just...start advancing in my life. Even though my own life isn't exactly stationary, I really want more results with the actions and activities I chose to involve myself with. The important part is to start getting internships, so I have to start heading out to various places in hopes they'll want to pick up a new intern. Mainly San Diego publications or start shadowing other careers.

Classes this quarter are straightforward and full of art stuffs. 20th Century Japanese & Chinese Art, Japanese Art, Structures of Art, and 20th Century French Film. The last one should be really neat, we're starting off by watching Daybreak, which is this 30's kind of classic noir film. I'm liking it so far, although it really seems like one of those classes where you read wayyyy too much into things.

That's all for how my life is so far! :)

XD I swear I'm so simple-minded when it comes to that. Any non-RPG game suggestions though? I'm ruling out Assassin's Creed, Borderlands, and anything super new cause it costs like 40+ dollars. (And the other two I'm waiting to play on the ps3 or am currently borrowing!)

So yeah, any non-RPG suggestions for games? Even better if it comes with multiplayer options!

Hope you guys had fun yesterday! As for me, my sister got me a lot of stuff from Urban Outfitters and worked from 10am to 3pm. Not too shabby. :D I was thoroughly exhausted though. XD

My sister's home for the thanksgiving holidays and for my uncle's wedding next week. :) She brought home lots of goodies for me as well, as if she didn't do enough for me. D: Two dresses, flat thigh boots (which I declined since I wanted heels) AND...this Vena Cava + Alexander Wang dress from their Gap collab!

The one on the right! It's adorable!

Last Tuesday me and Rachel had a great lunch at Opera, a little cafe over in Mira Mesa. I nabbed me some modern flavor macarons for $12 a box. A small demotion from my previous print writer position, but hey...I'm not complaining. :D (That's what I get for bailing out of it last quarter XD) I can throw this together onto my fashion resume again.
I got my Michelangelo midterm back! :D After 5 essays, memorizing dates and facts of 25 slide ID's, and memorizing the panels of the Sistine Chapel, I got an A+!!!
I'm on Episode 17 of Boys Over Flowers and....and...my heart...it can't take anymore drama! I spend all my time watching these episodes that are just nonstop heartbreak and heartache and squealing and madness.

Out of 25 fucking episodes, I don't know how much more 9 episodes can do to me...I'm already a mess of emotions and addicted madness. AND CAN I SAY, I LOVE GU JUN PYO?!?!?! (Korean equivalent of Doumyouji from Hana Yori Dango!) and I really can't deal with Ji Hoo being with Geum Jan Di...just...cause I don't like it I dunno. XD (equivalent of Hanazawa Rui with the main character girl.)

GOD, MY MIND IS RACING WITH FRUSTRATION!!! If Jan Di doesn't end up with Jun Pyo, my heart will die. I can't stop until I know what's going to happen in the end oh god /sobs for hours

On a side note I started posting up prices of my clothing at ClosetBug. It amazes me that my last outfit was only $83 for a whole ensemble...
