I've known Anthia for a good many years now - bonding over herbal remedy workshops here; I even made a little individual 'physic' garden so she could add to the bounty of botanical material we could incorporate into ingredients we might collect for discussion and example. I've learned SO much from Anthia. Her knowledge is seemingly inexhaustible and I could listen to her for hours on end. I wish I had time to read all her posts in full and recommend you do, in the name of good health. Mx
Pip and Hugo are a couple of years into creating a burgeoning new garden in country Victoria; and Pip writes a vivacious and comprehensive account of the plants that accompany their making story.
Hanna's knowledge of antique French textiles...well textiles in general, alongside oh so much more, always makes for a captivating, insightful and engaging read. Be prepared for a great deal of politics too...and an honest take on what it takes to live in France - with verve, if not rose-tinted romanticism (which you'll get too!).
I'm delighted to recommend India Flint writes...as my first recommendation here on Substack. I find India's writing, her storytelling...absolutely compelling. I do have to put her posts to one side though...and read them when I have a down moment...because they are so diverting! India's own personal story is intriguing, fascinating...her work enchanting...and from time to time, she comes to visit here...when the whim of a workshop is in the air...
Harriet's cooking journey is taking her on the most swoon-worthy adventure of seasonal, taste-fuelled, sensory delight. Follow her travels, the inspiring peeps she meets along the way and dream as she writes with verve!
