Wrong count showing on Associations Directory page (https://profiles.wordpress.org/associations) in My group

Description

On the association page I have been part of 10 groups but on top it showing count as 9 while in pagination it showing as 10 which is correct.

This is kinda correct.

You're only in 9 groups, as Plugin Developer and Theme Developer have zero members, and are only added at display time.

I guess I could disable the My Groups tab, but it doesn't seem worthwhile.

I'm going to close this as wontfix as fixing this count isn't going to happen, but if #7576 is fixed, that'll make this fixed..

yes but above count isn't considering Plugin Developer group as well.
Kindly refer below screenshot as it showing 10 group list which is correct but on Tab it counted as 9.

Ah, gotcha. Still, not fixing that number..

Might be a bug in BuddyPress itself, but due to the code we're using to fake membership of the group, I doubt they'll fix it.

I've hidden the group count.
