Opinionated questions do not display details of when a question was last edited, by who, nor a link to the revisions page for the post. This is despite the fact that the page does in fact exist if you edit the URL to /posts/<Post Id>/revisions. Opinionated posts should allow easy access to the revisions for users; this allows them to gain context for answers (responses) that may be out of date, or easily rollback malicious changes from a user (which is what highlighted the problem to me).

This should be extended to all posts on opinionated questions; the question itself and the responses (as these are stored as answers in the background, so have many of the "features" of answers).

This has now been fixed, the creation / last modified date on opinion-based posts (questions and responses) now link to the corresponding timeline page.

That isn't how it normally works, Darce. The last modified link takes users to the revisions page (example), not the timeline (example). On traditional Q&A posts the clock icon (which is also missing on such posts) takes people to the timeline. Commented Nov 7, 2025 at 12:30

Repeating my comment on my answer linked in my comment on the question above: @Darce The timeline & revisions pages, currently reached via 'clock icon button and "edited ..." link', are not appropriately reached through 'creation / last modified date' labels & I don't know why you would think they should be. I can imagine an obscure rationale that associates creation with timeline & last modification with revisions (and another for vice-versa), but it's not a reasonable labelling of what the pages are--timeline & edits/revisions. Any news on when the correct fix is going to be looked at here, @Darce ? Commented Nov 26, 2025 at 16:05
