Messenger Plus

Messenger Plus is a free Windows application that restores and expands the features removed from Meta’s official Messenger app.

Following the announcement that the desktop version of Messenger will be fully discontinued after December 15, 2025, Messenger Plus becomes a convenient and practical alternative for users who want to continue using the communicator without opening it in a web browser.

The application is based on webview technology and uses the messenger.com website, while offering a range of additional enhancements:
- remembering window position and display selection,
- a system tray icon,
- notifications for new messages (popup + badge indicators),
- background operation without keeping the window open,
- an unread message counter on the taskbar,
- automatic startup with Windows (normal or minimized to tray).

Messenger Plus provides fast, comfortable access to Messenger and brings back functionality missing from the official version. It is ideal for users who rely on Messenger frequently and expect stable, unobtrusive background operation.
