Region Onboarding

For instructions and prerequisites, please visit the Wiki
MeshMapper utilizes live data on your local mesh in order to determine level of connectivity. In order to do this, MeshMapper can either leverage the existing observer network at letsmesh.net, or through dedicated observer nodes connected to the MeshMapper MQTT broker. In order to onboard a region, there needs to be at least one LetsMesh or MeshMapper connected observer online in your area. Read about how to add a letsmesh observer here. Type a channel and press Enter.
Type a scope and press Enter ("*" = all).
Draw the boundary on the map (or import GeoJSON). The centre pin and radius update automatically; drag the pin to fine-tune.
What happens next?
After submitting, the MeshMapper servers verify your region has MQTT observers online (up to 5 minutes). Once verified, the MeshMapper team reviews the information, checks for conflicts with other regions, and deploys your region.
