Holiday babble
First of all, anywhere that I can buy pocky at the local Fred Meyer grocery store is a very good place to live. Got some last night and I've been nibbling on it all day. Strawberry is good. But decaf Starbucks is almost better. Had that last night too. Dunno what I'm gonna have tonight.
I've been working on my Christmas list all day and I realized that there aren't a lot of really crazy things I want. Clothes, some anime, a couple CDs, and maybe a DS or this cool alarm clock shaped like an NES controller that plays Mario music, but that's really it. And it'll be hard to tell people what I want when I don't want much and I'm not used to getting much for presents. Guess I'll just have to hope my list is decent and that I don't end up taking back every piece of clothing they buy.
Uncle Jeremy said Seattle gets a con or two every year, my aunt Erin is good at making costumes because of her work with the SCA, and I can't sew a straight line. If I ever have a job and get money for one, I'm hoping she'll make a costume for me with my input, show me how so I can do it more independently another time.
kazeraikaku thinks I'd look good as Ashe from FFXII. But do I have the nerve to wear a skirt that small? This is what she looks like, if you don't know.
