More About Tess: Tess Kelly is a chef and the founder of Séraphine Workshops. After moving to France in 1986, she developed her passion for French cuisine while apprenticing under a pâtisserie chef in Paris, Madame Bernard. With years of experience in the NYC restaurant scene, Tess opened Séraphine Bakery in 2014, where she began offering engaging, hands-on workshops for all ages. Her classes emphasize a balanced, seasonal approach to cooking, inspired by her deep love for French cuisine, which began during her teenage years in Paris.
