Son of "In Lieu of a Fic Meme," 2013

Well, here's to 2013! I don't feel like I accomplished the goals I set for 2012

…BUT, I did achieve lots of cool stuff that I'm proud of.

1. I got into an exclusive private school that I was scared to even apply to.
2. I survived my first semester at said school.
3. I took three writing classes, and wrote the assignments for them, mostly with a minimum of panic and flail.
4. I got involved with student government for the first time in my whole life.
5. I went to three readings, three parties, a dance, and a recital.
6. When I saw a dean at my school making well-intentioned but serious mistakes around students with disabilities, I spoke up, even though I shook in my boots when I did it. Said dean, to their credit, heard what I said and changed their approach.

For 2013, the goals I have are pretty simple:

1. Write and post/submit frequently (this is the "throw stories around like confetti" goal of years past.)
2. Get some help solidifying my time management skills
3. Continue to advocate for students with disabilities
4. Add some movement to my weekly routines

What about you, flist? Got goals?
