Our story
Cohera unites decades of destination management expertise under one name, born from the merger of CSI DMC and 360DG. For over 45 years, we’ve helped the world’s leading organizations bring their people together.
And that’s all it’s ever been about: people. We believe that connections can, and should, go beyond just meetings.
We’re not just another events company. In fact, don’t even think of us solely as a DMC. Part creative studio, part strategy firm, part production powerhouse — we’re the team that’s changing the way organizations come together. Connection doesn’t happen by accident. It takes vision, imagination, and the kind of execution that comes with decades of doing this really, really well.

History at a glance
1978
Fabienne and Terry Hanks kick things off with The Meeting Manager. Husband-and-wife duo + a big dream = the spark that started it all.
1987
Capitol Services Inc. is founded by the fearless Jill McGregor–one spark that sets off an entire journey.
1996
Trevor Hanks (a.k.a. the next generation) joins the family biz. Spoiler: he’s going to take this thing sky-high.
2003
Meanwhile in Huntington Beach, Shelly Archer launches Destination PROS — because one powerhouse founder just wasn’t enough.
2008
Trevor grabs the reins of The Meeting Manager. Time to make his mark.
2010
David Hainline steps in as Principal, ready to shake things up and sets a course to a bigger, bolder future.
2011
Hope Valentine joins as part of the ownership team, bringing her powerhouse sales background, unmatched client relationships, and results-driven approach that sets a powerful foundation for future success.
2011
Trevor + Shelly = magic. On the heels of the recession, they team up to create 360 Destination Group. Bold move. Big payoff.
2012
Tom Hubler and Amberlee Huggins join leadership and work to strengthen industry relations and operations during a critical growth phase. With Hope, Tom David and Amberlee at the helm, CSI DMC set’s sights on expanded reach outside of Washington, DC–a bold, growing brand with serious ambition.
2012
360DG officially launches in SoCal — sunshine, palm trees, and big plans. At the same time, CSI DMC kicks off in Washington, DC, ready to play in the big leagues.
2017
Denver joins the party. Mile High City, meet your new DMC.
2018
A massive growth spurt: Arizona, Colorado Springs, and Chicago come onboard, plus an exclusive CSI International partnership. Talk about leveling up.
2018
Boston enters the chat via the DPI Acquisition & rebrand. Wicked smart move.
2019
Hawaii, Grand Cayman, and the Bahamas? Yeah, we’re basically collecting dream destinations now.
2021
California expands — because the Golden State can never have too much of us.
2024
Nashville, Texas, and Las Vegas. Country, cowboy boots, and neon lights. We’re everywhere you want to be.
2025
Drumroll, please… CSI DMC + 360DG merge! One of the largest DMCs in the U.S. is born. It’s not just big — it’s industry-shaking, game-changing, and all about excellence, innovation, and putting people first.
