In other news, I went to a Frankenweenie screening last night. They were giving out these mask things so that was cool. It's a pretty good movie - definitely not for children (the end scene was grim and dark and like nightmares-for-life-yo). The attention to the details was amazing - you could see the individual mushrooms on their dinner plates, for pete's sake! (≧◡≦) The children are hilarious and bad puns all over the place.

ALSO: the lady who was sitting in front of us decided that it was socially acceptable for her to take off her shoes and put up her feet. I wanted to throw up.

So a week ago, some random Scottish actor started following me on Twitter (I still have no idea why but I'm assuming it was because I live in L.A. or something? IDEK) so I started following him too just for shits and giggles. I've learned two things about him: 1) his short movie (the only one he acted in so far I think) won some no-name award at some no-name festival and 2) he loves to hashtag (#like #really #REALLY #likes #to #hashtag #a #lot #of #stuff).

BTW, just so you know, I have a really massive work project due next week and I'm just starting it. I've had like a month to work on it.

COOL STORY BRO TIME!

When my sister from Chicago was visiting a couple of months ago, she really (I mean like REALLY) wanted to find the American Horror Story house here in L.A. She somehow got the address from the internet (is there anything Google can't do?) and we went in search of it. And viola!

Guy watering the lawn is the owner and we talked to him for a bit. He told us that he was going to be doing something "special" for Halloween so I'm gonna go back there and see. (✿◠‿◠)

We didn't go to Jimmy Kimmel last night for the RPattz interview because my friend was lazy and didn't want to put on real pants to stand in line for four hours. Which was also my problem. L-O-L

I'm reading The Devil in the White City right now and it's not terrible that I'm skipping over the chapters about the world's fair, right? I didn't pick up this book to read about architecture and politics and crap like that, I wanted to know more about "America's first serial killer", ok? Don't judge me!

Sooo...I got tickets to see RPattz on Jimmy Kimmel next week but - fucking hell - they're for general admission and I get the feeling that I won't get in again. I really don't want to wait for four hours and then find out I waited for absolutely nothing.

But then I feel like, "what if???? what if I do get in???? WHAT IF?????"

Went to see Dark Knight Rises this weekend. I'm too lazy to put this behind a cut so read at your own risk or whatever... Spoilers, I guess. Meh.

Overall I thought it was okay (I still don't know about that bomb being blown up and *SURPRISE* no side effects whatsoever - wouldn't the ocean at least be contaminated????? Christopher Nolan, y u get lazy in the ending?????).

I have to admit that I laughed silently whenever Bane talked. He sounded like Sean Connery and I kept half-expecting him to say "I'll take 'The Raptist' for $200, Alex." Am I alone in this? :P

Also, I was not expecting who the real bad guy turned out to be. WHAT A TWIST!

Also also, people in Gotham are so fucking stupid. Still can't figure out who Batman really is, huh? Bruce Wayne and Batman die on the same day and it's just a massive coincidence, huh?

Also also also, if there's another Batman movie and it's a continuation from this, I can see Juno Temple's character becoming Harley Quinn for some reason. Y/N????
