I want to start updating at least periodically to keep up to date with friends. I have several friends with whom my primary communication is through Livejournal.

Because of that, I am going to be cutting my friends list down. I still ready everyone's posts on my list, but since I have come to use this primarily as a way to keep up with friends, I will be removing some people with whom I'm not really personally acquainted. No hard feelings. You know how it goes. I just don't use this as entertainment as much these days.
