IGN reviewed the full first season of Silo back in 2023 and gave it an 8 out of 10 score. Here's a summary of what we thought:

"While its big mysteries remain unsolved, Silo has covered an immense amount of ground and delivered an enticing and surprising cliffhanger. Throughout Silo’s debut season, the world-building and distillation of information have been well-paced, and the attention to detail in the production design further adds to its compelling elements. Rebecca Ferguson is brilliant as Juliette Nichols, slowly peeling back the layers of vulnerability that make her teary reaction in the penultimate episode all the more powerful. It is a big year for Ferguson, and Silo is a reminder of her range. Despite inconsistent accents and some predictable twists, the ensemble cast elevates every moment, and standouts include Chinaza Uche, Harriet Walter, Tim Robbins, David Oyelowo, and Rashida Jones. It is a claustrophobic world that is equally expansive, and creator Graham Yost has made the best of both." - Emma Fraser

silo-season-2-gallery

IGN reviewed Silo season 2 back in 2025 and gave it an 8 out of 10 score. Here's a summary of what we thought:

"After revealing what the outside world really looks like at the end of the first season, Graham Yost’s dystopian thriller Silo wastes no time digging into the next steps of Juliette’s perilous journey and the consequences of her disappearing from view. Rebecca Ferguson is more than up to the task of the physically demanding role, all the while conveying Juliette’s fear and determination in new surroundings. Her change of scenery proves particularly fruitful once it puts her in contact with Steve Zahn’s Solo, a new character who offers further insight into this fraught environment. Back in Juliette’s former home, the divide grows, and the new dimensions given to Knox, Shirley, and Camille Sims are welcome. While Tim Robbins continues to savor Mayor Bernard Holland’s murky motivations, it is disappointing that it takes a while before Chinaza Uche’s Sheriff Paul Billings comes to the forefront again. Some plot twists are easy to foresee, but there are enough choices with surprising outcomes to keep Silo near the head of the Apple TV+ originals pack. " - Emma Fraser

silo-season-3-imagesIGN reviewed season 3 of Silo ahead of its premiere and gave it a near-perfect 9 out of 10 score. Here's a summary of what we thought:

"Season 3 is an awesome narrative two-hander, shifting back and forth constantly between Juliette's latest and greatest clash with the Head of IT and the past years leading up to humanity's confinement in the subterranean silos. It provides a ton of backstory and answers about the ruined world, bringing both timelines together at the end for a fairly savage revelation. Season 3 feels like a critical culmination of the first two seasons in regards to what Juliette discovered in Silo 17 and what our other characters learned from the Season 2 rebellion. It's great, exciting storytelling." - Matt Fowler
