He finds Jared, a young and really smart kid who is being abused by his dad after having been abandoned by his mom. He ends up having Jared stay at his house after he interrupts Jared’s dad abusing him. I remember that Jensen takes Jared out hunting to try and help get him out of his shell. In the end, the raid goes off and Jensen doesn’t see Jared for a few years.
