Hear From Current MCS Students

Anushka Dwivedi

I am a computer science graduate student at UC Irvine with a focus on software engineering and cybersecurity. I have experience working across full-stack development, cloud infrastructure, and security-focused systems. I previously worked at Cisco, where I led the design and implementation of accessible, scalable front-end systems. Beyond code, I’m an avid traveler, love painting and experimenting with new baking recipes, and can often be found curled up with a good fiction novel.

Joel Anil John

This past Summer, I interned at Arista Networks, where I worked on cloud-native applications and gained hands-on experience with large-scale systems. Outside of tech, I enjoy going on walks, listening to podcasts, and exploring new food spots around town.

Midhuna Mohanraj

I recently interned in an AI-focused role at a tech company in San Jose. I’m an MCS Student Ambassador and a GIC Peer Mentor. I’m actively involved in campus life, supporting new students and engaging with the international community. I speak five languages and have been trained in classical dance since the age of four. I also hold a Guinness World Record in dance.

Revathi Priyan

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and have two years of experience as a full-stack developer at a fintech company. My role focused on backend systems, specifically in the loan underwriting space, where we developed alternative credit scoring models using SMS-based data. At UC Irvine, I serve as a Student Ambassador for the MCS program and a GIC Peer Mentor, helping support international student engagement. Outside of academics, I enjoy swimming and building projects that address real-world challenges.
