Simple footnotes

This example has two simple footnotes.[1]

The codes used for footnotes are described elsewhere.[2]

Usually articles are several pages long and the footnotes are separated from the text. So:
  • To go from the article text to the appropriate footnote, click on the superscript footnote number.
  • To go from a footnote back to the appropriate place in the article, click on carat symbol at the beginning of the footnote.
