Maxime Chaize – Producer and Co-Founder of Hot Chili Games
I am a graduate of the Institute of the Internet and Multimedia in Paris, where I earned a Bachelor’s in Digital Project Management and a Master’s in Production and Marketing for the Video Game Industry. My educational background, combined with my professional experiences, has shaped me into a multidisciplinary producer with a strong focus on project management, team collaboration, and creative execution.
As a co-founder of Hot Chili Games, I transitioned a student prototype into our first commercial project. We have since released one game and are currently working on our second. My journey has been driven by a deep passion for video games, which perfectly aligns with my lifelong love for art, storytelling, and creation. This ambition to work in the gaming industry has motivated me to challenge myself and maintain the highest level of professionalism in every aspect of my work.
I thrive on learning and adapting. My extensive travels and relocations have honed my ability to quickly adjust to new environments, teams, and challenges, while mastering English and gaining proficiency in Serbo-Croat and Spanish. My passion for new tools and techniques drives my continuous professional development.
In addition to my work in games, I am deeply passionate about the arts. Raised in a family surrounded by architecture, literature, theatre, and cinema, I’ve always been immersed in creative expression. I also have a strong background in music, having been a musician from a young age. This blend of artistic and technical influences fuels my approach to video game production, allowing me to bring a unique perspective to the projects I lead.
Beyond my professional life, I am an avid lover of nature and the outdoors. I am an active rock climber, scuba diver, motorcyclist, and snowboarder. I strongly believe in protecting nature, and this passion influences both my personal and professional life.
