Calitabby Matrix
Matrix is a decentralized instant messaging network consisting of federated 'homeservers'. Calitabby Network operates a homeserver that is open to the public.
To join Matrix using the Calitabby Network homeserver:
- Use our web client
or download one such as SchildiChat or Cinny
- Where it says to change or select your homeserver, type
calitabby.netand log in with your Calitabby account - Edit your profile, join some rooms and start chatting!
Privacy & Moderation
Moderation is done by our Governing Board in accordance with our Code of Conduct; see Governance for more information. To report abuse, please join #support:calitabby.net. Homeservers that violate our Code of Conduct are banned from rooms within the Calitabby space and invites from their users may be blocked as this has been a major source of spam and shock content.
Matrix supports end-to-end encryption for messages sent in certain rooms including DMs. Please ensure E2EE is enabled before transmitting sensitive messages or media! Please read the Calitabby Privacy Policy for details on data collection and usage.
If you create your account using a VPN or Tor it may be automatically quarantined for review in order to prevent abuse. This usually only takes a couple hours. If your account has not been unquarantined after 12 hours please email support@calitabby.net.
Media
There is currently a maximum media size of 64MiB per file. Please do not abuse this limit or use our Matrix server as "cloud storage".
