Just another small eye set here. These have simply been edited and put onto an animation-friendly sclera. The beautiful originals are by witheredlilies, and the sclera is a mixture of mswn's and alfredaskew's. There are 16 colors and both custom and a gen & town versions (as well as pictures) are included in the zip.

EDIT: I decided I liked the shading on the original textures after all so I made an updated version. This one comes in gen&town only, and you can't have both versions in your game at the same time.

Hello again! It's been quite awhile since I've posted anything here due to computer issues and crazy life happenings, but I finally have something to share again. :>

Here is a big ol' set of eyes for you! This set is simply an edit of my previous Brick set. I removed the catchlight on the side, fiddled with the texture a bit, scooted them up a click, and put on an animation friendly sclera. Apparently during the few months I didn't have sims I decided that I didn't like having a darker sclera anymore, so I've been editing eyes like a crazy person (more sets will be coming eventually). This set comes in all of the original colors and has both custom and gen&town versions in the zip. Here, have a few more pictures.

Credits for the original iris texture goes to Ephemera and Pooklet, and credit for the sclera goes to Rensim for the alien eye and mswn & alfredaskew for the rest (I couldn't decide which one I liked best so I just blended them together). I might be able to upload some defaults in the next couple of days. Pictures and swatch included in the zip.

Hello again community!

I've haven't been active for a couple months because of school, but I'm sort of back (for a while at least) because I've just finished my 1st semester and am now on break. (Reference?) Super-nature-al - a Color Palette

So for a while now I've been wanting to make my own set of hair colors, and now I finally have. The names are all either nature-themed or Supernatural-themed, and there are three colors for each family. I only made one grey, however, the other two are just Pooklet's Mail Bomb and Pipe Bomb. There's a swatch under the cut. I will be using these for any hairs that I recolor in the future.

They weren't all made completely from scratch; most of them use colors by Pooklet, Iosiren, and Aelia. However, I did spend a lot of time on these, and I tried to make them visibly different from the colors that they were based on. Anywho, I wanted to make a sort of reference post before I started sharing hairs in these colors...so that I could link back to it instead of always having to give a an explanation about my colors. This is that post, and if I ever release actions for these (hopefully I will) I will post those here as well. (I have actually already made some actions that I use myself but they are horribly messy, long, and complicated. They are the first actions that I've ever made so it might take a little while for me to figure out how to make them a little more share-friendly.)

So basically, this post is just for reference. Sorry if I kind of rambled.

So I made a Sherlock sim some time ago and he's just been hanging in my sim bin for the longest time. I've constantly fiddled with him and now I think I'm finally satisfied. He is based on the BBC's Sherlock, in which Sherlock Holmes is played by Benedict Cumberbatch. Anyways, some people have shown a little interest in him lately so I've taken some pictures, packaged him up, and am putting him up here for download. I do hope you like him. I did the best I could to make him look like ol' Benedict, but that man has one ~~beautiful~~ funky face and it is sure hard to simmify. Also, he sadly has no John yet. :(

Nature themed Supernatural themed

So I've been working on compiling my own palette of hair colors and I'm almost finished. All I need to do now is decide on the names. I had been naming them with things that were mostly...nature related along with a couple Supernatural references, but then Zero brilliantly suggested that I name them ALL after Supernatural things and I couldn't resist. So these are the names that I came up with, and I was wondering which set people think is better. I'm kind of learning towards the all Supernatural set (the one on the right) but I am still a little uncertain. Anyways, if anyone wants to give their opinion (or different name suggestions) it would be much appreciated. :) (Poll?)

I have some eyes to share today. The originals are by the lovely mouseyblue. I fell in love with these eyes when I saw them in her Dusk skins and I wanted to have more colors! However, i kind of went a little crazy so there are 90 recolors altogether. These come in both custom and gen & town versions and they are on a slightly edited version of Pooklet's sclera. I don't why I decided to put text on all of the pictures but, oh well, I think they look pretty. (And hooray for for game snapshots because my printscreen button decided that it hates me!) Anyways, enjoy! :)

(WIP) New Colors! Have any name suggestions?

So for a few months now I have been gradually working on creating my own palette of hair colors. I think I'm finished now, but I don't have names for all of them yet. I've come up with a few names of my own, but I'm not quite sure if I want to use them or not. Does anyone have any suggestions for what to call them? Previews of the colors are under the cut.

First up are the blondes.

Possible Names:
-Dark: Savannah
-Light: High Noon

Next up are the reds.

Possible Names:
-Dark: Ember
-Light: Honey

Then there are the browns.

Possible Names:
-Medium: Mahogany
-Light: Earth

After that there are the blacks.

Possible Names:
-Dark: Obsidian

And lastly there is one grey, the medium one. (There is only one because the light & dark are Pooklet's mail bomb & pipe bomb.)

Possible Names:
-Medium: Starlight, Moonlight

Note: Most of these use color actions from either Pooklet, Io, or Aelia so credits to them.
Thanks ahead of time to anyone who can come up with some ideas. :)

Graphics Issues! :[

Ever since I got a new computer I have had a lot of problems with the graphics in my game. For example, sims' faces or bodies will spontaneously go black, random textures will cover the ground (or somtimes objects), building will be dark in the neighborhood view, screenshots will have a weird square stuck right in the middle, and much more. My computer is has the 64-bit version of Windows 7. Since my old computer wasn't 64-bit I was thinking that this might be the problem, but I'm not sure. Does anyone have any ideas as to what's wrong (or if I can fix it)? I've had this computer for over a year and I haven't been able to solve this. I'm tired of my graphics being wonky. :(

I have a hair to share today. :) This one is a slightly older free Peggy hair. I know it's been retextured multiple times but I've had this done for a while and I wanted to share it. It comes in all of Pooklet's naturals with v3 textures and the first two families link to the greys. The hair will not show up for teens or young adults because the teen mesh was borked and the YA showed up as a maxis hair. Credits to Pooklet for the textures and colors and to peggy for the mesh...which is included.
