Open Tabs
Everything I Save
Do you all have open tabs on your phone? I currently have 54. It drives Brice crazy. he says it slows my phone down but I just can’t remove them. I love discovering new brands, artists, websites. I often find them, love what they offer, and plan to shop from them when the time is right or just look back on them to be inspired by.
When my phone glitches or has had the “black screen of death,” I don’t worry about losing text messages or other items but I fear the loss of my open tabs. An organized person would just put them in their notes so if your phone does break, it is in the cloud, but welcome to my world. Where nothing I do makes sense. :)
I thought it would be fun to share some of my “open tabs” with you. If anything, I can finally close some of them but more importantly I want to share them with you in hopes you can discover a new brand or be inspired by someone new.
So, here are my “open tabs.”
The Basket Lady - Wicker Trunk (linked) -
I saved this because I loved that it looked sturdy and well made. It is under $300 for the XL. I love wicker. I feel like it adds a natural element to make a home feel cozy. This would work in so many areas in my home: girls room, play room, living room, guest bedroom
Louise Clothing (linked)
This brand has been on my radar for the last 1+. I love the classic and simple silhouettes mixed with these gorgeous fabrics. I died for these pants but they sold out before I could get them.

3. Caitlin McGauley (linked)
I saw an install shot of her wallpaper and stopped in mytracksscrolling. It was so happy, colorful (not pictured), and beautiful. I saved her textiles to look back on for when we re-do Eleanor’s bathroom/room.

Le Château De Ma Mére (linked)
This brand, which sells clothing and home items, still feels like it is getting going but I love where it is going. They are slow to upload new items but the overall feel, branding, and pieces make me intrigue for the future.

Round House (linked)
Round House has items I haven’t seen anywhere else. They are funky and fun. I love the idea of using their items for a fun girls dinner. It just feels whimsical, girly, and cheery.

Peter Beaton Hats (linked)
The OG of summer hats and a Nantucket tradition. The company was Started in 1988 form a mother, Darcy, looking for a way to work from home and take care of her son. (I love this part) She sold her engagement ring to buy hat supplies. 37 years later and her business is still thriving. There is just something special about buying from an original.

Betty Kuhner - photographer
I keep her tab open just to admire her work. She is one of my most favorite photographers. The way she captured people is incredible. She made them look so natural, relaxed, and happy. She captures moments in time like no one else. Her photos of the Kennedy family are some of my very favorite. Her photos are my forever inspiration.

Andrew Scott -Artist
Andrew Scott is an American artist whose art I admire deeply. I love the playful nature of his pieces. They bring life and humor. They make me smile and also make me feel nostalgic. One day I hope to be the proud owner, for now, I’ll keep the tab open and dream.

Eddie Parker (linked)
Okay, shall we get naughty? I discovered Eddie two years ago when I came across her fruitcake lighter. She makes the most fun accessories for the smoker. I am not a smoker but I love how fun and retro her pieces are that I have contemplated many times purchasing for my guest who do smoke. At this point I am definitely considering the ringtone lighter just to have for candles.

Maison Flaneur (linked)
Titled, The Home of Unique Homeware. Pretty self explanatory. I love checking out their new tablecloths and finding unexpected treasure. In a time when it feels like everyone has, dresses, and looks the same, I cling to places that are original and showing items that you don’t see on the daily. It isn’t necessarily always my style but I love seeing happy and unique items.

Well, we have officially cleared out my open tabs and my time. I am off to get my girls from school but I hope you discovered new places to shop or people to be inspired by.
I am curious, who is on your open tab?

Mary, this is such a fun post!
I currently have 35 tabs open, so I completely relate. Thanks for introducing me to some gems; now I'll have more tabs open 😄
Also, I noticed that Tuckernuck has the red gingham libby pant in a L.
