Insane Ian
Mainstage
(Ballroom III/IV)
Insane Ian is a comedy musician, originally from Baltimore MD, who now resides in Chicago IL — meaning he has moved from one "war-torn" city to another, if you believe certain orange oligarchs. You might've heard his music on The Funny Music Project (aka The FuMP), his YouTube Channel (where his popular series "A Comedy Musician Reacts" releases episodes weekly), or on the legendary Dr. Demento Show, where he was recently named one of the Top 20 Most Requested Artists of All Time in the 55 year history of the show, and had the #1 song of the year on the show in 2015.

Insane Ian's songs run the gamut of topics, such as comic books, video games, D&D, movies, tv shows…basically, if it's pop culture, Ian's got a song about it. He's a 17 time nominee of the Logan Whitehurst Memorial Awards for Excellence in Comedy Music, but seeing as he is also the chairperson of the awards, he is also a 17 time runner-up, and thusly calls himself the "Susan Lucci" of the Comedy Music Awards. If you get that reference, kudos to you.

With a sharp wit, sarcastic smirk, and a bit of self-deprecation, he's here to bring his unique sound to anyone who won't tell him to shut up…and even a few that will. FFI: https://www.insaneian.com/

The winner is chosen by audience vote and will win the coveted GOLDEN SPATULA!
